Lancaster Amish Country Travelodge - 兰喀斯特

This is a perfectly good budget hotel. The room and linens were clean and it smelled fresh. You're on a busy road so it's easy to get to though not too much within walking distance. Yes you can hear the adjacent rooms a bit, but for what you're paying, it's a very good place to stay.

The room we stayed in smelled horrible, like someone had recently died in there. The no-slip tub mat was dirty as were all the doors. A friend got another room the next day and said the new one wasn't as bad. Crappy mattresses!

Dec 9, 2011. Excellent staffing - accurate billing, extra efforts for GF Diet and assistance w/extra needs for handicap addressed w/o problems. Little work to be done on the hotel in general but **** Stars is - clean linens, quick air control and cable and lights all worked. Shower Stall was provided in 106 Room - as suggestion for those w/handicap […] - bring your shower chair. Little walk to the office for Breakfast - but level - no stairs. Pool looks nice for summer return travels in the future. Great Job for Travel Lodge - some improvements to go...but nice. Close to shopping plaza and the theater as well. Travel on roadways - 45 minute 1/4 per/mile - plan ahead on this for admission dining times. A serious mistake for evening program - but all went well w/the staff @ the Theater as well. I found the room to br comfortable and clean. The only possible complaint was in having to take the breakfast back to the room for consumption. The trick is to bring the tray under the ice bucket down with you so that you can carry breakfast back.

The stay was okay, but coud of been cleaner. The phone and light fixtures were very dirty . The bed was very comfortable and we slept good. As far as staying there we were happy for what we wanted to spend.

The room was horrible. The front door was broken, and corroded on the bottom half. The shower was clogged with hair, and the carpet smelled dreadful. This is not a place to stay if you have children.

Do NOT stay at this hotel! There were stains on the sheets, we requested a non smoking room, got a smoking, the carpet was horrid, windows are dirty, had to wash the tub before showering, towels are old and ratty and scratchy. Complaints to management fell on deaf ears, guess they are so used to complaints that they really don't care.

It is the Travellodge, I did not expect much. The room that was booked for me was Non Smoking, however they told me that my reservation was for smoking and there would be an additional charge for non smoking... The patio door was broken and being on a busy street, the street noise was so loud all night long. Room was tired and outdated and smelled […] terrible. Lots of unsavory characters 'hanging" around. Pleasant room w/easy access. Small, but sufficient for a short stay. Only problem was no coffee filters, but a trip to the office solved that. Microwave and refrigerator was an unused benefit! WiFi was an easy connect with good speed. When in the area, I will be a repeat customer.

We chose the Traveloge because it was close to Millersville University. We got a very cheap rate through hotels.com. The motel is small and older, but the bathroom had an updated shower stall and it had a flat screen TV. The rooms need completely updated but it was very clean. For a 2 star it is OK. Breakfast meager. Room a bit small, but clean and comfortable.

The faucets leaked both sink and shower, the shower handle came off in my husbands hand. The noise outside was threatening and loud during the early morning hours of the morning. We left 2 days early. I will admit I did not call the office about the noise I just laid awake until daylight and we checked out.

For the price it was just fine. The front desk could not have been more helpful. The room could use some updating, as well as additional lighting and plugs. WIFI was VERY SLOW!!!

Over all good. Did find a bug in the room... not sure what it was. not so close to a lot of things but thats because PA is huge! and our planning wasn't the best

we stayed there for 4 days we came in by amtrack we would stay again the staff were very friendly and a lot of help in showing us were to go and how far away it was we really enjoyed our stay there

The motel was on the west side of Lancaster in a newer side of town. The staff were freindly and courtious. The rooms looked like they had been repainted recently. They had new draps and comforters. Well, this was the price that was cheapest in the area. And, the rating before I booked in was 2 stars. So, I should not have been expecting anything wonderful. But, the kicker was that the staff was extremely rude, inconsiderate, and loud at all hours. I guess you get what you pay for.

there were holes in the carpet, the pillows were *seriously* flat (and there were only two of them on a queen bed) but it was reasonably clean. just badly in need of an upgrade. the hotel restaurant, however, was incredible. i would not have expected such good food from a hotel of the travelodge caliber, but it was some of the best palak paneer i've […] had (it's called something else on their menu - look for the spinach/paneer/garlic dish) and my friends with whom i was travelling were all well pleased with their selections. head and shoulders above the peruvian tapas (supposed to be fine dining) next door. 阅读更多信息

Overall the stay here was terrible. The outside smell was of urine. Two of the 3 nights stay was awoken by a yapping dog very early in the morning, and the last night with loud arguing in a neighboring room. I will venture to say I would not stay at a travellodge again, at least not this one.

The stay at the Travelodge in Lancaster was not the Taj Mahl, but was acceptable for the low price we paid. We stayed four days. Our only complaint was we requested non-smoking,but got a smoking room. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The hotel definitely could use some remodeling, but all in all it was clean and suitable for our needs.

this motel is always a good price for the time of year and area. it is a clean, comfortable room close to all of the things we like to do when we go to Lancaster. I love the quietness of the pool, and the shopping centers all around it. the staff is very friendly and helpful. we have stayed here at least 6 times now and have never had a problem.

Very poor water pressure in shower and commode. Shower temperature was difficult to adjust. Had to flush commode twice each time. Light bulb in bathroom needed replaced. Exhaust fan did not work at all. Air conditionning worked very well. Pool was nice. Day staff (female) was also very nice. They didn't have notification that we wanted non-smoking rooms. As it turned out 99% of their rooms are smoking. And they ALL smell. Many of pee. We looked at several rooms, had to settle for one that smelled the least bad. The sheets were stained, there were hotels in the blankets, & walking barefoot on the carpet turned your feet black. It was horrific. […] The free breakfast was free for a reason. The pool is VERY tiny. There were cigarette butts everywhere. This hotel is a Travelodge but not the best I have seen. It is handy to visit Lancaster County attractions so we stayed. It has a pool, but the breakfast arrangements could be better as the lobby is very small. The rooms are not very big but the facilities are there, but looking quite tired and threadbare. Avoid this place. Condition of motel is poor. Bathroom had peeling wallpaper. Cigarette burns to sheets, and overall poor condition.

Very nice rooms, on the weekend they did have some party people check in but it was not bad. I did tell them when I left they had a nice hotel but they needed to paint the outside. Breakfast was good,pets were allowed, coffee pot, hair dryer, mic, ref.,all in room. some things that is hard to find in a hotel now days at a good price.

Trods bestilling af røgfrit værelse, var det et røg-værelse. Hvor finder man et andet hotel en lørdag aften kl. 20.30. så han tilbød os et andet værelse hvor der skulle være knap så meget røg, og så ville han sætte en ekstra seng ind. Den ekstra seng var heldigvis røgfri til allergi-barnet. Men king-size sengen lugtede så fælt af røg, at vi efterfølgende […] måtte smide nattøj til vask ;-( Sengetæppe og gulvtæppe var fyldt med huller efter cigaretskod - FØJ FØJ. Ligeledes var der gammel sæbe i brusekabine og generel dårligt rengjort badeværelse ;-( Stolen i værelset var aldeles ledløs og ikke egnet til at sidde i !! Så alt i alt en MEGET dårlig oplevelse. Godt det kun var en nat. Poolen var derimod god. Dette var vores 12. overnatning på en rundrejse, og absolut ikke anbefalesværdig.
