We have had a few problems here in the past, but this visit was good. The only thing we missed from our last stay was the comforter. The bedding was different.

The hotel was in the middle of replacing the carpets throughout the whole hotel. It just so happend that the night of my stay, which was a Saturday, the room dirrectly above, dirrectly beside, and dirrectly infront of my room were under construction. From the hours of 7am to 6pm it was nothing but dueling hammers. Needless to say I am less than satisfied […] for the amount of money I spent for a relaxing night of rest, that did not happen. The room itself was pretty nice except the comforters smelled sweaty as if they dont get cleaned on a regular basis. At around 3:30 or 4am a large group of people(10 to 12) gathered just down the hall from us and were very disruptive and were knocking on our door. Needless to say that this terrified my 8 year old daughter and she was in tears. What […] should have been a good nights rest was ruined by the mess out in the hall. Just rediculous. My wife and I were attending a wedding in east TN. Hampton Inn came up on hotels.com, and I read the guest reviews. Very accurate! Outstanding customer service, and the breakfast is excellent. The staff is extremely willing to do whatever is necessary to make your stay a pleasure. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Well maintained and operated close to downtown Johnson City, the VA hospital and East TN State U. Obviously well managed and well appointed rooms and breakfast area. Good deal for the price.

Went up for visit to ETSU. Relatively close to the campus and enough around for restaurants etc. Staff was super courteous and room was clean. Great value for the money.
