Looking at all the pictures, you expect to open up the hotel room door to a newly renovated hotel room but it was the opposite. The hotel was doing renovations but are not done yet. They need to change their advertising until its done. Overall, I had a pleasent stay, the beds were comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. Hotel staff were very nice […] and helpful. My friends stayed at a hotel only a block away and they would even help them catch a cab so they came to mine to get good service. Truly our experience at the adagio was lovely on all accounts. But, I hate surprises, and I got one on this trip. Before choosing a new hotel to try, I investigate thoroughly and weigh out all our options before choosing the best suited for us. The issue I have, is that most of the pictures hotels.com has up for the adagio, are future pictures, pictures […] of how the hotel will look in June, post $7million dollar renovation. So as you can imagine, after all of the deliberating and looking through pics, to get to our room and find it to be different than the pictures was annoying. Hotels.com warned me about the construction, so I talked to the hotel before booking and they reassured me we would not be disturbed, which was accurate. We never heard a peep. They did not tell me that the hotel bar/lounge would be closed permanently, so that was a bit of a bummer as well. So, all in all, our stay was great, the staff was great, the room was spacious and the bed comfy, but the bathrooms were definitely outdated and not as shown. value for money hotel. good location within walking distance of union square.

Hotel Adagio was nice but did not stand up to the recommendations posted online. The staff was average, the room was average, the bar closes at 10 on Saturday, there is not a balcony or roof top deck as the pictures would lead you to believe, the hotel could not accommodate small requests (foam pillows) etc. Overall maybe a 5 out of 10. Hotel Adagio in San Francisco is quite comfortable and conveniently located. The neighborhood can be a little frightening at night but had no problem at all.

Loved the hotel, in every aspect but WIFI performance. Consistently flaky (dropping randomly) over three days. A show stopper for me. Too bad, they would be top of my list otherwise.

Great location! Union Square was only 3 blocks away, the mall was about 5 blocks and there was quite a bit of entertainment around the hotel. We got the Deluxe Double room, which are the room from floors 1-7. Room was nice, except for some little things here and t here. For one, the toilet didn't flush well. Maintenance was sent up, said he fixed it […] and it was because the tank filled up slowly. Even then, toilet didn't work well. Description said we would have a pillow top mattress and that sure wasn't the case. I am sure that the more expensive rooms has this. Heater worked well, except the drapes were right above the heater which didn't allow the warm air to circulate throughout the room, instead just above the drapes. The portable AC was just in the way. There is a mini bar in the room. If you don't let them know you don't want to make a donation to who knows what, they will charge you a couple of dollars as a donation. 阅读更多信息
