The staff was very accomodating in every respect. We were very pleased. The room was clean, functional and comfortable. We would most likely stay here again on future trips.

Stayed two nights at Kapok Hotel. The room was small, and uncomfortable with slippery ceramic tiles on the floor in room and bathroom. Toilet didn't flush well and the shower gave little water. From the sink came only hot water, no cold. I can accept those minor uncomfortabilities but not when I pay what I paid for this hotel. Breakfast was very poor. I found the service to be excellent and the hotel itself was very clean. Overall a good value as the hotel staff was both friendly and helpful, it was located not far from downtown Port of Spain, it had 2 restaurants conveniently located and was near a plaza with restaurants and stores.

The Hotel Kapok is located close to several must see sights. You can jog around the savannah or if you are the mood to walk, you can take a gentle walk around the park.
