After reading mixed reviews I booked for my family with some hesitation but was thrilled with our huge rooms, the service, ambience and location. Highly recommend this lovely old hotel. A quick, easy walk from the train station too. Tours is a very walkable town and all attractions were easy to access from hotel. Tourist into centre a few minutes away […] and easy to book castle and chateau mini bus tours from there. The location is outstanding, right in the centre of Tours and easy to reach from the autoroute. It is a good stopping off place on long journeys because of the location and secure garage.

It's a short walk from the train station and the Tourism office. It's really in the heart of the action - shopping, eateries, etc. Staff was very friendly. The hotel has charm, which I love.

Very near train station but in a nice neighborhood and convenient walking distance to old square/old city center. Beautiful lobby, larger rooms but bed was a bit old. Large bathroom was nice. Bar area beautiful: dark wood and leather. The bartender was very nice and we enjoyed talking with him. Restaurant on site for breakfast - we did not eat there […] otherwise. Another restaurant is under renovation. We would stay here again in future visits. Not a modern hotel as in Holiday Inn but historic and more intimate and personal. 阅读更多信息

I would use this hotel again because of its location - but it wouldn't be my first choice as far as the fabric of the building is concerned! The room smelled strongly of smoke, the sealant round the bath had black areas due to mould, and the carpets in the hallway were stained. Also be aware that although the Hotel has its own underground car park […] - this must be pre booked. We arrived to be told that it was full. Although there is a public underground car park nearby, which is cheaper, stopping outside the hotel to unload a car is very difficult. Breakfast at the hotel is expensive - but there are plenty of small cafes nearby. Also a number of very reasonable and good quality brasseries nearby. 阅读更多信息

The first room we were assigned to was very dirty, the shower had lots of "fungus" that we did notice until the morning when we wanted to take a shower. The second room had A/C problems, the hotel staff insisted that was a general problem in the building, but when the outside temperature is +100ºF (40ºC) and you notice that nobody works on the system […] is not acceptable. This hotel is in an excellect location and has parking which is a plus in Tours. The staff, especially Julian, was very helpful with directions and any questions we had. The hotel is older with a beautiful lobby.

This is one street away from the Tours train station (2 minute walk), and in great location. Tourist bureau is nearby. Restaraunt in the hotel was good, both food and service. We went off season, and it was quiet, but overall very pleasant place to stay.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was very helpful. The quality of everithing was top class. Even breakfast was included, and it was the best I had from any hotel during my 3 weeks visit to France. We had chosen Tours and the hotel but had never visited either. We can honestly say that from the minute we arrived to book into the car park to the day we departed we were pleasanly surprised. All the reception staff were welcoming, polite, helpful and did all they could to make our stay one that we would certainly return to- but you need to approach […] them and ask the questions or the politeness of 'bonjour' 'sava' is what they think is all you need The room cleanliness lives up to its reputation of a 4 star hotel. We thought that the ladies who attended to our room need to be acknowledged by management of what we thought was 5 star rating- thank you The location was great- we found it difficult to pull ourselves away from the hotel Brasserie for meals and the local amenities as they were so good and convenient. Hotel was great! It was 3 minutes from the train station. It was about a 15 min walk from the restaurants, but great shopping on the way. Breakfast was very good.

We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Despite being in a very busy area, the hotel was easy to access and unload baggage. I was not aware that you must call to reserve a parking space, but the hotel clerk directed me to a public parking lot within the next block near the train station and the price was cheaper. The hotel is old and the carpet worn, […] but the atmosphere was very nice and the people helpful. Rooms are very large in comparison to other hotels which was a nice surprise. We had a street view also which was great. Probably would not have stayed at this hotel if we did not get the discounted rate, but it is very convenient to the shops, restaurants and the train station. Walking distance to train station. in the commercial center of town and walking distance to beautiful center of Tours, and Loire river borders. A beautifull and vibrant city

This is the fifth time we've stayed here and it continues to improve. It's quiet and yet near the busy heart of Tours. We'll definitely stay there again. If I have a complaint, it's that the bar isn't open in August!

We found the hotel very nice in every way. The staff was friendly and everyone that we dealt with at the desk was friendly/accomodating and spoke english well. It was a great location to walk from and there was easy access to the parking lot. This is a centrally located hotel full of character owing to the huge number of world famous guests over the years that have stayed there. My room was very comfortable and very tastefully decorated.

Hôtel très bien placé. Par contre, les photos qu'on voit sur hotels.com n'ont rien à voir avec la chambre qu'on a eu. Elle était vieillote, sans confort et triste! Pas digne d'un 4* ! Peut être que les réservations avec hotels.com donnent droit aux chambres minables de l'hôtel ?

Idéalement situé, chambre spacieuse, charme un peu retro... A recommander

駅から近く、トランクを持っての移動には便利でした。小さな町なので、中心部にもすぐに歩いて行くことができます。とても古いホテルですが、清潔感もありすごしやすかったです。ただ、朝食のつかないプランの予約だったのですが、朝食について普通に説明されたので、もしかしてついているのかも、と思って利用したところチェックアウトの際に料金を請求されてしまいましたので、ちゃんと確認が必要でした。

Hotel tres bien situe. Acceuil un peu pretentieux. Chambre spacieuse et calme. Mais il faudrai changer les rideaux, et nous avons du debrancher le mini bar car vraiment bruyant. Petit dej a 15 euros pas vraiment jusrifie, 11 ou 12 euros serait bien. Moyen sur le rapport qualite/prix en general. Bizard que ce soit un 4 etoile.

super hotel accueillant, propre, proche de tout, chambre superbe, seul petit point negatif pour un tel hotel qui est très joli de décor dommage que le petit dejeuner ne soit pas aussi grandiose. chambre un peu vieilles mais c'est le charme de l'hotel.

Som utgångspunkt till många slott i Loiredalen så är staden Tours mycket bra och det är smart att stanna en natt och göra alla slott på denna sida för att fortsätta dagen därpå. 街一番のホテル。 最高のホスピタリティを期待したのですが、 結果はチェックインから残念ですた。 プライベートガレージの使用を希望したのですが 駅前の公共駐車場を案内されました。 満車なのかと思って覗いてみたらガラガラ。 後から来て利用している人もいました。 部屋も広いしバスルームも広くて奇麗ですが 最初でつまづいてしまったので 気持ち良く過ごす事ができませんでした。

Super et grande chambre ! Lit confortable. Hôtel situé en plein centre ville, de quoi profiter de la rue nationale ou encore du quartier Plumereau et de la rue Colbert.... à pied !!! Très bon petit déjeuner. Bon service en chambre !

accueil tres disponible et service de petit déjeuner prevenant les chambres sont spaciaeuse et preparées impeccablement cet hotel et les chambres ont infiniment de charme et le confort est à la hauteur

Cet hôtel est très bien situé, très confortable avec un charme qui ne tient qu'à lui. Même si certaines moquettes auraient besoin d'être changées, voici un hôtel avec une histoire. Cela change des hôtels de chaînes de très bon standing mais qui finissent par tous se ressembler.
