Prague’s Jewish quarter witnessed oppression and suffering for centuries before the Nazis invaded during the Second World War. The tightly packed, insanitary buildings of the ghetto were mostly destroyed in the 1890s, but the Old Jewish Cemetery and several atmospheric synagogues survived. Best is the Old-New Synagogue, dating from around 1270.

The rooms were nice, huge, and very well maintained. The location was perfect for the Jewish Quarter and very close to the Old Town Square. The staff was professional and responsive.

We loved everything about the hotel, from the staff and the concierge to the breakfast crew. Loved the breakfasts. Great variety and excellent quality. A great location for the sites that we were primarily visiting. Close enough to the central square and not too far from the Royal Castle. We could walk everywhere. The hotel is in good location, but a bit old , I was oddered a room on the 2nd floor with a corner of river view , not very attractive actually. Besides, the prices of the mini bar are terribly expensive, e.g. 9 US dollars for a bottle of water. It is average in gereral.
