This hotel had a good balance for the price. The pros included the close location, the size of the room, the comfort of the bed, free 24 hours of WIFI in your room, and the quality of the breakfast. You should know that the hotel is located uphill from the train station. The cons of this place included: the size of the bathroom (tiny), the A/C that was present but did not work, and the fact that was asked for a non-smoking room and got a room that the previous guests had obviously smoked in. Great location at a bargain rate. Close to rail station, city centre shopping, restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room and not too small when you travel on your own.

The location of this hotel was perfect, especially for those not brining their own car. It's close to all the main bus stations (Rede Express and Rodonorte) and the Sao Bento train station, so perfect for making day trips into the Douro Valley and other towns in Northern Portugal. It's a 5-7 min walk to the Ribiera area, the Palacio da Bolsa, and the […] main cathedral. The pedestrian street Santa Catarina with coffee shops and restaurants is literally steps away. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, but not sketchy. You have to pay for wi-fi, but there's a coffee shop nearby that offers free wi-fi, so this wasn't a problem for us. Room very small, but still a good value

Hotel was a basic, no-frills Quality Inn. But the location (2 blocks from the funicular to the riverfront, 1 block from lots of shopping) couldn't be beat, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

While a great room for the money, the room was just a little too small for it too be a 100% great experience. On the other hand the staff and location could not be beat.

nice enough hotel....good location. very good breakfast. downsides; bed was far too hard. boring standardized furnishings....i think i prefer quirkier places. overall good though

The hotel is well located on the Batalha square. This gives easy access to Santa Caterina shops. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean but on the small side. TV worked well and other amenities good.

We spent 3 nights and had a very nice stay in this hotel. The breakfast is the best part. The rooms are clean and the showers have great pressure. The staff is friendly and courteous and go out of their way to be helpful. The location to explore the city is good, only the neighborhood could use a little cleaning up. Hotel muy bien situado.Habitación 405 ,el baño un poco pequeño.Servicio, limpieza, desayuno todo muy bien.Saliendo del hotel a la izquierda está el bar Tropical que nos ha dado muy bien de cenar y nos ha atendido muy buena gente. Como siempre que he ido a Portugal ya sea norte centro o sur ,pais muy bonito y gente encantadora

Excellente localisation sur la Praça da Batalha, au bout de la rue Santa Catarina. Petit déjeuner très complet.

Me he pasado muy bien en el hotel. Es límpio y céntrico. Lo único que no me ha gustado es la falta de una nevera en la habitación! Os recomendo!

Nuestra valoración es excelente, tanto su ubicación, comodidad, habitaciones y baños y tengo que destacar su personal, servicial, atento, agradable y con ganas de ser amables y útiles a los problemas que nos han surgido. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo een fraaie winkelstraat in of je stapt op een bus ( op 5 min .lopen) naar bv het Casa de Musica ontworpen door Anton Koolhaas. Das Quality Inn, ist sehr gut gelen, man ist schnell am Hafen (Ribeira) und trotzdem im Kuchen. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man zu Fuss sehr gut, kann aber auch die Strassenbahn oder Bus benützen. Taxistand ist auf der anderen Strassenseite des Hotels. Das Frühstück war gut, die Angestellten, geben sich mühe und räumen sofort den Tisch frei, damit […] man sich setzten kann. Perto da Via Catarina, uma otima rua de comercio, com boas lojas, FNAC e um pequeno shopping. Para os que forem pegar o metrô no aeroporto, aconselho descer na estação Bolhão, e seguir toda a Via Catarina, evitando troca de trem. O hotel nao tem frigobar no quarto. Senti falta.

Zu diesem frühem Zeitpunkt, außerhalb des Saison im Februar, gab es ein Sonderangebot. Der Check-Inn lief problemlos, das Hotel war vorab bezahlt. Das Hotel liegt recht zentral in der Nähe der Metro-Station Sao Paulo. Die alte Metro-Strassenbahn fährt zudem direkt auf dem Platz vor der Tür ab. Eine weitere Metro-Kurzstreckenbahn ist in 5min erreichbar, […] sie führt ins Altstadt-Viertel am Fluss, wo auch die Sightseeing-Boote abfahren. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Handtücher wurden sogar täglich gewechselt. Neben Fön und Radiowecker gibt es auch einen Fernseher, der ein deutsches und mehrere englische Programme zeigt. Außerdem gibt es einen Wasserkocher. Das Frühstück war ebenso gut. Neben Brötchen und Frühstückskuchen gab es auch jeden Tag verschiedene Sorten Cornflakes, Obst, gekochte Eier und Rührei. Die Auswahl an Aufschnitt war etwas klein und auch jeden Tag gleich. Aber für den Start in den Tag ausreichend. Die Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel sind nur eingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Die Speisen sind dort eher durchschnittlich, Vorspeisen kosten extra ohne das darauf hingewiesen wird und der Service poppelt auch gern mal in der Nase. Aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nix. Zum Essen sollten man aber doch eher andere Orte aufsuchen. Allerdings sind die Bäckereien und Cafes in der Nähe gut. Wer gerne shoppen geht, findet in der Nähe des Hotels auch gleich eine der großen Einkaufsstrassen. Auch nicht allzu weit entfernt sind erste Besichtigungsorte und der Touristenservice. Alles in allem ein relativ günstiges, sauberes Hotel, dass seinen drei Sternen gerecht wird und daher weiter empfohlen werden kann. (eng.) Good and clean. Acho que a relação preço/qualidade não é das melhores. O valor da diária não reflete a qualidade dos quartos. Quarto muito pequeno.

Hôtel très confortable et très bien situé dans le centre historique de Porto.(La place (praça) da Batalha est une des plus sympathique de Porto).De là on peut visiter les principaux sites de Porto facilement à pieds (il faut aimer la marche et les marches ... mais ceci est valable pour tout Porto). Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable.Le petit […] déjeuner "buffet" est bien garni. Il n'y a pas de restauration sur place, mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour tous les budgets pas très loin et le personnel de l'hôtel vous indique tout cela avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Figura en Hotels como de 5 estrellas y es 3 estrellas. La habitación doble era muy pequeña, con sólo 1 mesa de luz y sin frigobar. Recomendaría por ubicación y relación precio/ calidad.

hotel bien placé sur une place centrale avec restaurants, près de la cathérale (ballade superbe la nuit) chambre un peu étroite et acceuil impersonnel , cuisine bien équipée, parking payant assuré sur la place ( à noter samedi et dimanche stationnement non payant dans la rue)

Hotel remodelado, os quartos tem uma boa area, e a insonorização é boa. A localização é muito central e está na zona do comercio que a Rua de Santa Catarina.

l'hotel e' situato nel centro storico di Porto, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Perfetto per visitare la citta' a piedi.

Van woensdag t/m zondag met een bevriend stel in dit hotel verbleven. Prima locatie op loop afstand van het centrum, de Douro en Ribeira. Sightseeing bus stopt voor de deur. Een kaartje kost 10 euro per dag, openbaar vervoer is daarnaast niet nodig. Nette, prima kamers. Goede airco, lekkere douch, goed bed, donkere gordijnen. Nadeel: kleine kamers en […] geen koelkast. De gangen waren een beetje muf, vergleken bij de frisse kamers Heerlijk ontbijt, veel fruit en genoeg keus. Wij waren heel tevreden over de prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Als we ooit weer naar Porto gaan (wat een heerlijke stad) gaan we weer naar dit hotel. Personeel spreekt verschillende talen (frans, engels, portugees) en is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig.
