I made this reservation at the last minute before our trip to the races. I have never stayed at a Jameson Inn but I have seen them so I figured it had to be good. Well I was wrong! I opened the door and immediately saw all the outdated furniture and all of it was mismatched. There were stains all over the carpet. I would not even take my socks off it […] was so nasty. Then within 5 minutes of entering the room I put my suitcase down on the luggage holder and there was a roach crawling up the wall. My husband hit it with his boot. Then a little later on when I was getting ready to brush my teeth there was a hair plastered on the tile behind the sink and it was a black hair so I knew it was not mine or my husbands. We checked in at midnight and left before 9 the next morning and we had killed 5 roaches in that room. There was boric acid about 4 inches thick underneath the sink along with roach droppings stained on the walls. This was by far the nastiest place I have ever stayed. I would have went and asked for my money back but they had already informed me that it was 100% non refundable because being race weekend. I will not stay in another Jameson Inn because my first impression was horrible so I do not want to take the chance on another one. 阅读更多信息

The motel was very nice and the staff was wonderful. Everything was clean. Ice machine and Coke machine were in working order. We had no complaints.

This hotel was filthy. The sheets had yellow stains, carpet not vacuumed, shower mildew and cracked. If it had not been 2am and I had not already prepaid, I would have left. I can't imagine what I didn't see in the dark.

Had read the other reviews, knew it was an older property, but only needed a one night stay, so hoped for the best. Staff is great, common areas were good. Our room was clean enough, just not clean enough for me to feel comfortable. Vents need to be taken down and cleaned. Bathroom walls over tub areaa need to be checked for mold, which did concern […] me. Sink area needs refurbishing, as did our door to bathroom and outside. One would not stay open, the other would not stay closed. Had to slam outside door to get it to "catch". I would probably stay again at a Jameson Inn, but will ask about when their last reno was.... 阅读更多信息

All was great until the kids and I went to the pool. I was very surprised to see all the debris. The bottom was full of leaves.

I reserved 2 rooms and requested they be together, they were not. My room was not clean. There was residue on the sink and bathtub/ The carpet was allso dirty. I will NOT stay there again.

have crossed this hotel chain forever off of my list. the pine sol they use to "clean" their rooms is so over powering one can hardly breathe.

The kindness and willingness to please that the staff presented at The Jameson Inn in Oxford Al. made my stay very pleasing and enjoyable. I will be staying there again !

We were comfortable in our room. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel was older and some of the furniture was a little worn. Our overall experience was comfortable for this level hotel.

The price was very reasonable for an overnight stay, but you get what you pay for. It was not comfortable, the desk was located where you could not see the tv..internet access kept dropping .The room was substandard as far as the paint, furniture,and carpet.

Everything was fine, except there was a very large dead roach under the table next to the tv. Also, when we got into the room, there was a bag of wet towels between the doors connecting our rooms. Other than that, it was a pretty nice hotel, good for the money. I would recommend it to others.
