Even manager was extremely rude!

I enjoyed the room, the property is well maintained and secure. The front office staff isn't very friendly. That is the only down side.

They were doing an audit when I checked in and had to wait 30min.

Well kept, clean, secure environment and nice staff. Wish they had a pool though.

Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette was acceptable and everything worked. Hard to beat it for the price and location.

Only stayed the weekend but I know that these simple and neat studio rooms would be perfect for a longer stay. The room was clean and in good shape and the staff was friendly and efficient. I will stay here again when I am in the phoenix area.

Not a bad room for the price.

Bathroom walls not that clean, have to get your own clean towels

clean, clean, clean. Bed could be more comfortable but cleanliness was great.

I have stayed 5 nights over a two week period. Hotel is quiet and handy. Don't leave anything of value in your car! My window was smashed and an expensive camera was stolen. Police report was taken.

On the outside the hotel is decent looking, I was only in town for the weekend for a kids sporting event, so I did not spend much time in the room. I will say that I would have been better off sleeping on a rock. The beds here are horrendous, they are hard and uncomfortable and I had to take tylenol to get some sleep due to the mattress. This hotel […] has no pool, which is a huge mistake considering this is ARIZONA people! It was between 88 and 95 degrees when I was there. The housekeeping only comes around on Tuesdays, so if your there great, if not go fetch your own extra towels, pillows, etc... from the lobby. This hotel doesn't even leave toiletries, bring your own soaps, shampoos etc...not that hotel toiletries are worth anything, but in a pinch you may need them. They do not offer the roll away beds or a cot as other hotels normally do. My 7 year old refused to sleep in the bed because it was so uncomfortable. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately the girl at the front was new and couldn't answer much. Even for the purpose of my stay I was unhappy with this hotel. the room which was non-smoking did reek of smoke, but I think that was due to almost the entire floor standing outside the rooms smoking. 阅读更多信息

very clean room. simple and would stay again

The lady at the front desk was very rude and half the time she was never in the office when I came in and always took forever to help everyone. She was my total reason for not staying a third night.

If you like a hard bed, this place is for you. This hotel is part of the Extended Stay America family. If I had known that ahead of time, I would have stayed elsewhere. First of all, at check in, they tell us they didn't have any "non-smoking" rooms available (this is what I made reservations for) after a few minutes of being in the "smoking" room, the front desk called and found us a non-smoking room. a couple nights later when I was in the front office waiting for my room key to get fixed (for a 3rd time) I heard […] the manager tell other people that they are way overbooked. Not glamorous and the tv was a little spotty, but it was clean, quiet, and worked for a few days to see spring training baseball.

Hotel's location is a plus. Having a suite with a kitchen is also a plus, but I could do without the burn stains on the comforter and pillow cases. The toilet had the most extreme hard water stains I've ever seen...time for a replacement. Other than that, it was okay.

Like other reviewers, requested a non smoking room. However, it came with 2 ash trays! And smell!! Thank God I had brought air freshener with! The room was small for a 'suite'. Wouldn't want to stay there more than a day or 2. And, check in is not until 3 o'clock! Don't try to get in any earlier!

I came in very late and they accommodated my needs with the late check in. I will definitely be back

I emailed the hotel before we stayed and asked if there was a pool and was told yes...there is not! Also, check in time is at 3...We showed up at 330 and were told we had to come back in at least half an hour because our room was not ready! It was such a pain. The stay was friendlyish, and the hotel was nice. just not worth the price.

We had just stayed at this hotel the weekend of Christmas and was quite pleased with our room overall from that visit, but when we went this time we were put in a room in another building all together and out of the offices view. The room we stayed in this time (#205) had holes punched & kicked in the bathroom door, an unidentified stain on the cushioned […] chair, the microwave was ripped down from the cabinet it had been attached to, the metal door to the room had marks all over it like they were throwing darts at it for sport & the toilet had brown staining in it that looked like someone had used it but not flushed it for a month. I was incredibly disappointed with the condition of the room we were given, period.And since there was only one other car besides ours parked on the same side of building as us, I really don't understand why a room in that condition wasn't down for repairs. I had requested a non-smoking room and was told when I arrived there were non available. I used to smoke so I figured, "How bad could it be?". The smoke had permeated every porous item in the room. That said, if one is looking for an inexpensive place to sleep in the metro center area, this will do.

We spent 45 minutes waiting for someone to come to the desk so we could check in to the hotel. From what another patron said, she saw the employee eating in the break room. Located 7 miles north of central Phoenix, this extended stay hotel offers a full kitchen, a large kitchen bar/table, and plenty of electrical outlets for cell phone chargers, laptop chargers, etc. It is not fancy, but priced right. It is only 14 blocks from the hotel to 7th Street. The bed was a little old-fashioned, and not particularly comfortable--none of the new "pillow-top" mattresses. It was a plain box spring mattress and a bit worn out. I attended a class that was held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix, and the cost of 3 nights at the Homestead, plus 4 days of an Advantage Rental car, plus all-day parking downtown was less than one night at the Hyatt. Our room was very clean. I liked that the hotel was a little over a mile from the freeway. I felt safe staying there. The grounds were very nice too! Definately a great place to stay for the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a two star hotel.

Well, I expected it to be somewhat "nicer" than I got. I have stayed in Homesteads on the east coast and they were much nicer. This place reminded me of a "Motel 6" with a kitchenette. The price was so good, I should have known. It was clean and quiet, so that was good. I would recommend it to people on a budget.

This is a good budget hotel if you want a basic room that is clean and has refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The location was close to my business plans in an average Phoenix neighborhood.

Bed was hard as a brick even checked to be sure the bed had a mattres, not just the box spring, caulking in shower was moldy

the pillows were too soft I had to double-fold them to make them firm.other than that all went well.

I was greatly disappointed in this experience! The beds were very uncomfortable the curtains had been torn and tacked to the wall by previous guests the coffee pot did not work the bathroom was not clean neither was the carpet, one of the pilow cases was stained/soiled and there was no door on the closet, but there was a door track on the floor where […] there should have been a clost door. The television had less channels than a motel 6 and no way to order any movies. I was highly satisfied with my stay at the homestead hotel not only was the room nice and upkept but the comfort and convienece of having stores and restaurants in the surrounding. I defenitly will be staying here again

The room was neat, however the carpet was filthy and the funiture was torn and STAINED (with what I did not want to know.) The bathroom door had huge holes like some one was beating their way out. Staff was very friendly and met my accomadations requirements. Affordable for the area.

The property is located on the east side of the 17 freeway about halfway between the 10 and the 101 freeways off a street called Dunlap. It is very close to the Metro Mall which for all purposes is a regular big mall with all the associated resturants one comes to expect with the territory. This property is well kept, very non-ghetto (unlike some other […] properties), and the mulitple towels they give you in the room are not puny. The room has a kitchenette (sink, stove, fridge, microwave, but no oven). Some of the hotel pictures on their site show a dishwasher in the room, but the one I was in did not have it, just drawers. Over all, for the price, it cannot be beat. This hotel is one where the door opens to the outside directly where you would park your car. It is not like the ones where it opens into a hallway inside like some other hotels. Great if you have pets or stuff you want to take into your room directly without having to use an elevator or go through a lobby with a bunch of people. Another caveat, which may or may not be a big deal, they only clean your room once every 7 days. Meaning, if you stay less than 7 days, you are on your own to keep your room clean and ask for more towels if need be. Therefore, there is also no "Do Not Disturb" signs provided in the room as there is no need for them under 7 days stay. 阅读更多信息
