the shuttle was there to pick us up from the airport at 1:30 AM.. our flight was delayed... ease of checkin, room perfect.. breakfast was over the moon good.. ALL services were eyone our expectations. thanks so much.. felt safe and welcomed from all the staff.

The indoor swimming pool is actually a jacuzzi, and it was very dirty.

Having already stayed here between Lima and Galapagos, I was satisfied enough to stay another night between Galapagos and Cuenca. Very centrally located for exploring what there is to see in downtown Guayaquil; a couple of blocks from the Malecon and also from the cathedral. Excellent breakfast and good dinner menu.

Excellent location if you want to stay in downtown Guayaquil for a day or two; not much to see though in downtown Guayaquil. Wonderful breakfast and other meals in the hotel restaurant. We never stay at American chains in foreign countries, but we had one night in Guayaquil, which we'd heard has sketchy safety, and had been on the beach with mosquito nets and no AC for a week. The staff at the Hampton Inn Downtown Guayaquil were outstanding. From the airport shuttle driver (which is free) to the front desk to the cleaning staff, they were all extremely helpful and friendly. It was nice having someone at the front desk at all times that spoke English. Comfy beds, clean rooms, close to many attractions (Cathedral, Iguana Park, […] Malecon), and an awesome complimentary breakfast buffet - I would definitely stay at this hotel again. We stayed at this hotel for one night, arriving late and leaving early, but we had enough time to be impressed by the front desk staff (helpful in getting us checked in very late and recommending a van service to Cuenca) and to enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning - the best one of our trip.

I like this Hotel because the attention of the personnel on the Hotel. Also cleaning of the whole Hotel was awesome. The waterfront 2000 the river Guaya is near the Hotel just walk the 9 de Octubre.

The room was great. The included breakfast had good variety and the omlette was so good I asked for another. The service from staff was excellent, with the assistance provided by Luisa (from the reception desk) being the best of all. I was very impressed with Luisa's professionalism and her efficiency with her own job enabled her to help other staff […] when they needed her to interpret what I could not eat (at dinner) because of medical problems. Good service and hotel for price. Busy neighborhood. Front desk was helpful in arranging transport to the coast. Driver got lost and took 7 hours for a 2 and a half hour trip. Was mad when we did not tip him.

Everyone in the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The location was in walking distance to almost everything that there is to do in Guayaquil. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience and stay with some of the best customer service that I have ever had, even compared to 5 star hotels.

Hotel provides secure transportation to and from airport. Rooms were clean and neat. English speaking staff were friendly and willing to assist with any need.

This people really know how to treat guests. They do everything they can to make your stay confortable.

I had difficulty finding a hotel with rooms that would accommodate our family of 4 at a reasonable price and was suspicious that the Hampton Inn kept showing up as the only one available. We ended up spending several nights at the Hampton and were pleasantly surprised as how clean, comfortable, convenient and friendly this establishment turned out to […] be. The included breakfasts offered great variety and were of high quality. Amenities such as the business center with free high speed internet access and free transportation to the airport were much appreciated. The rooms were quiet despite the location on a busy street. The Hotel Staff is great from the Front Desk to the Maintenance guy. Very helpful at all times. The area is quite "Rough" you may not feel safe walking around. Another hotel comparable in price and quality is in front of a Mall and in a much better area. The only issue this hotel has is the location.

El hotel es precioso muy buena atencion , bien ubicado, completisimo. Gracias

El hotel limpio y moderno, bien ubicado (centro ciudad), buen servicio. Sin embargo me toco una habitación en el segundo piso junto a un motor de A/C, fue complicado dormir. Pedi el cambio y lo hicieron.

Vi blev tilldelade ett rymligt rum, gott om utrymme för en familj med två nästan fullvuxna barn. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Hotellets läge passade oss utmärkt, nära till den fina strandpromenaden och alla sorts butiker. Gymmet och spaavdelningen provade vi en kort stund, där hade vi säkert tillbringat mer tid om vår vistelse varit längre. Frukostbuffén […] var bra, det vi och många andra europeer saknar är bättre ( starkare ) kaffe och "hembakat", mörkt bröd. Nuestra estancia fue muy buena, muy recomendable en cuanto a situación y comodidad. Tiene un servicio de transporte gratuito al aeropuerto, algo muy comodo cuando vas a estar una sola noche. Limpisimo y un desayuno muy rico.

Muy bueno en todos los sentidos,es casi un 5 estrellas,he estado en muchos hoteles ya que soy un viajero frecuente y la verdad este hotel se lo recomiendo a todas las personas que visiten Guayaquil,Excelente calidad en todo.

Es un hotel con muy buena ubicacion en el centro de la ciudad, pero deja mucho que desear su restaurante, se ve como un hotel desuidado y muy oscuros los pasillos de las habitaciones
