Hollow on the Square - 开普敦

Location and rooms were perfect. Some of the light fitting did not work and maintenence had to be called twice. Also on the morning of a major cycle race, no plans were made to serve breakfase earlier than 7am. Overall a nice place that could use some poplishing

I stayed at the new Green Annexe of the hotel and it was fantastic... Older part of the hotel was not quite as good but still fine, would definitely recommend booking, but request the Green Annexe if possible!

Very central and comfortable hotel, however the service was very mixed. The reception staff and Concierge were very efficient and helpful. The waiting and bar staff were a mixed bunch. Nonetheless I would recommend this hotel based on cost and convenience.

The was a good low-cost hotel. My biggest complaint is about the bed.....they need to be replaced, but it had the most comfortable pillows of any hotels that I've stayed in South Africa. There is construction across the courtyard that may impair coming/going in the morning. We were a family of 4 with 2 children under the age of 8. Great location (except you have to pay for parking), incredible breakfast, and very nice rooms. Staff was incredibly friendly and beyond helpful. Concierge service was simply out of this world. The customer service at this hotel was good, however below are the issues I encountered during my stay: - I had multiple occurrences of dirty/soiled towels delivered from housekeeping during room cleaning _ I could not get more than two towels delivered to the room - The vent in the bathroom was very dusty - Irons are not allowed in the rooms, so we […] had to send our clothing out ironing sometimes twice daily (quite an inconvenience) - Each time you need the hotel shuttle it is a minimun charge of 40 Rand _ I used an international calling card, yet charges will still billed to my rooom _ Finally, I was diappointed that there was no concierge services that offered assistantance with tours or local information 阅读更多信息
