Budget Lodge at the Beach - 弗吉尼亚海滩

Closed to the inlet. Parking was limited. It was a challenge to find parking once you leave your parking spot.

I think they need to clean the whole hotel this was like a roach motel. The elevator was filthy even the soda machine was filthy. When we took our shower the water was clogged and we even had a stains on one of the wash cloths. I will never use this place again

The motel is somewhat run down, but probably worth the price given the convenient location near the beach. My biggest complaint was the loud, foul-mouthed travelers in a nearby room who were making a terrible racket between 3:10 and 3:40 am, waking up my entire family. I stayed one night here to extend my stay at the beach. The sliding door failed to open onto the 24 inch balcony. The window was in need of cleaning. No coffee pot in the room and the microwave plate was missing. Water pressure was good. The heating unit kept "banging" and I had to keep turning if off. I had to throw myself against the door to be able […] to enter the room which was terribly inconvenient. The staff was friendly. I had an ocean view between levels 2 and 3 of the parking lot across the street. It was noisy, but no bedbugs, which was a concern. I could easily walk to the beach which was great. This would have been fine if I was a drunken college student who really did not care where I passed out, but I left a resort to stay here one last night and it was nothing but a disappointment. this hotel is small but the people were nice the rooms wre clean and if your at the beach and most of the day out of the room just having a good safe place to fall alseep is really all you need I would stay again March 23rd 2021 cheer compition weekend

If your looking for a place to lay your head after a long day of partying on the beach and particularly don't care this is the place to go. It is extremely close to the beach, which is nice, but in need of a serious restoration. The staff I found to be helpful, but that is mostly because simple things like soap were left out of the room. The continental […] breakfast was mediocre at best having cereal, toast and juice as the only options. The wireless that is advertised doesn't exist. I had to pick up another wireless from another hotel, and that was because it was unsecured. In addition what ever i could get was slow as molasses during the winter time, my phone was faster at finding information. Black tub, the sink didn't drain at all, our tv worked sporadically. There were a few good points though, the bed was comfy, and the view was pretty decent though our patio door didnt lock or open easily.

Older Hotel, now getting in bad shape. Not clean. Deferred maintenance. However, the location is great and close to beach and Rudy's Inlet.

The hotel was nice for the price. The only problem we had was the noisy neighbor we had. Besides that the room was fine.

Stayed here before and was minimally satisfied. Price and location only good points. Arrived late as I often do on business trips. Tile floor at entrance and bathroom very sticky! I've stayed before and it was better previously. Room not quite as clean, towels appeared to have been thrown on the towel rack. Smoking room with no ashtrays. Front desk had no ashtrays either,.

This hotel is not on or near the oceanfront. This hotel is in the middle of the street between two streets. I wouild not let my dog stay in this hotel. It should be closed. The tub was black. When I was given a key to my room I went to wrong room and my key open that door. I got there at 2am and left at 7am. I walked into my room and my balcony door was open and would not shut. They were timely in rectifying the situation which took two the total of 3 different people trying to close it. I went out and came back late. Wish I'd checked the sheets. There was someone else's hair on one of the pillows. It was too late to go anywhere else so I was stuck there. […] The walls are super thin so if you have neighbors coughing or talking, you will hear everything. Hotel was pretty good for it's age. You could tell it was an older facitlity. Water pressure left a lot to be desired. Hot water was always there and you had to keep the AC running to control humidity. But then again I am from a desert state. I grew up in the Midwest so I understand it. The ac unit needed filters cleaned and the director ducts cleaned […] as well but worked very well. 5th floor view was great even though you not right on the beach. Jet noise is ever present from Oceana but then the whole beach has the same condition. And I don't mind the sound of freedom flying over to remind me of what we tend to take for granted in freedom. I have the worst experience there ever, the room stinks the room smell like smoke, the bathroom was extremely dirty, the place looks rundown, it was the worst experience that I ever had in a hotel, they will never get my business ever again.

This was a nice older hotel, not directly on the beach, but one lot back. It had great views of the ocean and also a marina from the other side of the hotel. Coffee available in lobby at all times. Nice place for a low budget hotel. Coffee pot in room, but no coffee !!!!!

The hotel staff that I encountered were extremely eager to please. The rate was most definitely affordable. I stayed on business for a small non-profit, so money is important. That being said, the title of the hotel means what it says. This is not a place to stay if you want posh surroundings. The condition of the hotel itself left somewhat to be desired. […] The place could definitely use a facelift. But they are a budget operation, and a facelift would only make the rooms more expensive. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. I would take a point or t wo off for the condition of the bathtub, but that's all. I did not partake of the breakfast, so have no comment there. I took a nice walk up the beach to a great restaraunt, and the view from my room on the fifth floor was nice - I could see part of Rudee Inlet, and part of the beach. This hotel is very close to the beach. You just have to cross the street and you are at the beach. The personnel is nice, the breakfast very good. I wish they would keep the place up a little better. A little noisy, you can hear traffic all night and flights coming by every couple minutes from the air force base.

The hotel wasn't bad. When we got to our room the key didn't work. It needs some updating and new decor, but other than that it was clean. It is convenient to the beach. For the cost of the hotel, the value was not there at all

Location is great, however hotel needs a great deal of renovation. Room service was pretty bad, needed to ask couple times for towels. Will not stay next time.

An older property. Hotel staff were helpful and pleasant; convenient location a block from the beach, close to the southern end of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Our room had a partial ocean view which was a nice surprise. A plus was the refrigerator and microwave in the room and balcony on which to store beach items (but too narrow to sit out on). When […] we arrived the bathroom did not look very clean...sand and stains on the floor, and the toilet appeared not to have been cleaned. The housekeeper offered to re-clean the commode. the motel had a few years on it and it showed some physical marks that need attention but the stay was fine. the staff, all of them, were polite and always helpful. the lady who cleaned our room did a great job. location was good as well, bus route convienent to the motel. other than some cosmetic needs it was a good deal.

Our stay was very pleasant, all staff were very accomodating and personable. Room was clean,good location right next to shuttle stop. Very satisfied for the price.

It was a great experience to known that, some HOTEL just answers the name hotel BUT don't now what it takes to bye ONE, first and for most I lost my I D and wallet on my first day of arriving. I reported it, but nothing was done about it. They hadly come to clean your room. No camera on the hallways, it was just a mess.

For the price, you can't beat it! This hotel is old, so don't expect fancy spa-like conditions. It is a classic beach hotel. The room was very comfortable and welcoming. the problem with this hotel is 1, the breakfast is a jokeboiled eggs, oatmeal , off brand cereal, coffee and juice. the least thing they could do is have danish or donuts. the room we stayed in had a cloudy window so u couldn't see the ocean plus the balcony door would not open so we couldn't step outside other than that a good location rooms were clean […] never seen the staff other than to check in. 阅读更多信息
