Very nice. Lighting could be better in bathroom. Too dim. Television up too high. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay again.

Don't let the hotel name fool you - it isn't called MICROtel for nothing! The single, 1 queen bed room on the first floor was TINY! Everyone in our party came to look at it. Had a one night stay. Room was very clean, comfortable, and staff was super nice. Didn't have breakfast but understand it was offered. Would definately stay again if in the area.

This was a new, pleasant, clean hotel. Excellent value for the price. Was convinced by the many positive reviews to register online for it, and found the reviews were right. Chocolate chip cookies available at 10 pm when we checked in were much appreciated and quite good. Staff were very helpful, even if I asked something that might not have been 'their […] job', like asking the cleaning lady about more decaf at breakfast. The hotel was nice, clean, and felt safe. Good option if you're traveling through the area. The only negative was the staff. They weren't very friendly and acted annoyed that I was interrupting their TV show when I checked in.

Not a bad place for the price, the room was clean, it was very quiet and had a beautiful view. The free Continental Breakfast was substantial and had some good things to eat. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay and will stay there again if I have to return to this area.

The view of the surrounding mountains was absolutely beautiful!

I am usually satisfied with Microtel, but this was an exception. The hotel was clean and maintained alright. The breakfast was a bit below what I have had at other Microtel Inns. My family of four was placed in a room designed for wheelchair access that made using the bathroom inconvenient for my teenage daughters. We enjoyed our stay at the Microtel Inn in Staunton, VA. It was very clean and comfortable and the hotel personnel were helpful and friendly. Price was reasonable and only complaint was that we didn't get back from dinner in time to have a homemade chocolate chip cookie. Other guests took way more than their share.

It was easy to get to, a little small for the price, but reception was great and it was clean.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay and would happily return.

Overall not a bad place to stay, but I would not want to live there. The room was clean and well maintained. No funny smells. Refrigerator and microwave were nice to have. Location is convenient to I81 and places we needed to be. Only three real complaints. The room HVAC on heat would make the room too warm (thermostat was set to 62 degrees), shut […] off, and then not come on until the room was cold. The room could use a coffeepot. Our second stay in a Microtel Inn and again we found it to be clean and economical. No real frills room had two queen beds, TV and clean bathroom facilities. All you need for a night of rest while on the road. Warm chocolate chip cookies at 8pm a bonus. Relatively close to various dining options and located just off the interstate.

Room was small but clean and comfortable.Breakfast was good, enjoyed the home baked chocolate chip cookies.

Worked for me for one person, stopping one night on my way to a destination. Clean. Small room would be a challenge, especially for more than two persons. Restaurants are close by. Satisfactory for the room rate I paid.

The rooms are very compact, but nice and clean. The bed was comfortable; however, there was one light that went across the entire length of the ceiling over the bed, so if one of you wanted to read, it would disturb your sleeping partner. But other than that, it was a positive experience.

Great place to stay with views to the mountains. Close to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline drive. Hotel staff helpful and friendly and freshly baked cookies were offered on arrival day. Lovely outdoor pool. Would definately stay there again.

We have enjoyed staying at this hotel every year for our family reunion and the cookies they back fresh each night are great :)

Never, never, never again! Bed was soft and uncomfortable. Room never cooled and it blew all night long....very loud. Room was tiny and worn.

We stayed here when passing through. Thought it would be fun to see Charlottesville and hop back on interstate heading north. A little cosmetics would go a long way to make the room more pleasant. Room darkening shades would be nice. The air conditioner was very loud and woke me up throughout the night. This hotel had a nice view of the Shenandoah Valley. We had two rooms and both were super clean. The staff was wonderful! We had warm, fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies (a nice surprise!) every night. Would definitely stay here again.

We just needed an overnight stop on our way to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and it turned out that the hotel was just off of the road (Rte 250) that goes directly to the park.. It was very close to and easy to find off of I-81 as well. The room was basic, but the bed was firm, the room clean, and it had a mini fridge and microwave. This motel is what it is. It's a convenient place to stay in Staunton (right off I-81) and while it's not the most comfortable of accommodations, it is clean and affordable. Not a bad place to stay if just looking for a place to hang your hat for a day or two. If staying in the area longer than a couple days, you may want to look elsewhere.

Room was neat and clean. Very basic, no frills and it was small but adequate for one or two nights. Breakfast was cold except for instant oatmeal and a microwave. If I hadn't used a reward night I thought it was a little over priced.
