Forrest Hotel and Apartments - 福雷斯特

Good value, ticked all the boxes, handy to Manuka.

Our stay in Canberra was excellent as we were close to the Australian War Memorial. We attended the Dawn Service & breakfast in Anzac Hall, then went to the AQnzac Day March. We also visited Black Mountion & the AIS. We stayed for 3 days and would highly recommend Forrest Hotel & Apartments.

Hotel is easy to find, just off parliamentary circle. Quiet position with eateries as well as parks nearby. We find it central for just about anywhere we need to go by car in Canberra. Good facilities, always clean & comfortable and warm in winter.

Enjoyed stay, will stay again when visiting Canberra.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was a small amount of faeces on the toilet seat and on the inside of the toilet bowl. The grouting and seals in the shower had black mould on it and there was soap scum build up in the shower also. The sealer around the hand basin and drain was full of black mould. The window frame was […] covered in black mould especially on the locking part. I do understand the OH&S issues for staff to be using bleach but I do expect the bathrooms to be thoroughly cleaned in between guests. I always bring my own bleach and scourer just to be sure there are no tinea germs on the shower floor. I wanted to go tell them at reception to get some one to clean it but my husband didn't want to wait any longer to settle in. I cleaned the shower, tiolet and inside hand basin myself, I left the window and its frame as an indication of what the shower was like and you cant clean sealer it needs replacing. There was an old heater that was disconnected wasting space and only a 2 seater lounge for a unit that can sleep up to 5. There were stab marks on the bench top and a piece of laminate missing off the side of the bench top near the stove. The freezer had a thick layer of ice. I'm sorry for the negative review but I have never needed to clean a room that I am paying for. We stayed at the same place last year in a 1 bed room unit there was more lounge seating and the cleanliness was much better. I don't think we will go there again. 阅读更多信息

TERRIFIC STAFF AND GREAT LOCATION EXCELLENT BREAKFAST

Rates were OK, bed comfortable, toilet and shower far to small, parking and location good, staff friendly and helpful.

Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, but the bathroom is due for refurbishment. The office staff could not have been more helpful, polite and friendly; nothing was too much trouble. The location is slightly difficult without a car, but taxi services are very satisfactory. Overall, a very good experience.

Our stay was very brief but very comfortable. The staff was very efficient. Would have like the restaurant to be open on the weekend but it was a small inconvenience. The neighbourhood was a little noisy early in the morning; not the hotels fault.

The hotel was clean and bedding was fresh and crisp - no dull bedspreads. The heater did not work in my room so I was given another room which was a bigger room. In the new room there was no jug so I was given a jug which also did not work, There was no lift and I had a heavy case to carry up to my first floor room with no offer of assistance.

Helt greitt, 10 min gange til Manuka, som hadde et hav av restauranter og supermarked. Mer motel enn hotel. Stor fin park rett over veien! Resepsjonen var hyggelig og hjelpsom.

Hotel: Très bon compromis qualité/prix. Restaurant très agréable. Accueil sympathique.

人工的な自然の中にCapital Cityは作られて、このホテルもその外周部にあります。モーテル形式のホテル＆アパートで、車がないとちょっとした物を買いにいくのも大変です。一番近い小売店は、Manuca の街で、歩いて15分くらいです。静かな環境を好しとするなら、いいホテルです。
