Upon our arrival in Greenville, TN, we checked in early, anticpating a good visit at the Andrew Johnson Home. We were greeted by a room with candy wrappers on the floor. Bubble gum was on the Gideon Bible. Whether the tub and stool had been cleaned was questionable. The door hardly locked. A good coat of paint would have also helped. Great room, clean and comfortable. But the grounds of this hotel were in such bad repair that we almost didn't check in. Two foot high weeds everywhere.

The room was typical, bed, chair, dresser, desk, all in good condition. Only issue was mildew starting to accumulate in the shower. Staff was friendly and courteous. Lots of restaurants within walking distance however the one across the street had a very loud band that could be heard in the room, not the hotel's fault but consider asking for a room […] towards the rear as ours was near the front.
