Great hotel, friendly staff, even the standard "free" breakfast was much superior to most chains. The complimentary wine was a welcome pause after a long day, and there were a wide variety of restaurants in the area.

We went for a nights stay away from Milwaukee for shopping and sight seeing. The hotel staff were very friendly and heloful,. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and tasty. I would definitely stay here again,.

My family and i had a descent stay. we were disappointed that it had no pool. i saw the pic of the hot tub and assumed there was a pool too, my mistake. the breakfast was microwave sausage, pancakes or french toast sticks. cereal, juice coffee and muffins and toast. Obviously a good place to see things in the Schaumburg area like Medieval Times or Legoland, but also a reasonable drive to Six Flags and about 35 minutes to downtown Chicago. Nice clean area, not congested. Plenty of eating options in the area as well or pick up some groceries at nearby Dominick's. Hotel itself looks clean and modern. Room was not […] cramped. Room had a hi-def flat screen, microwave, refrigerator, iron. Downstairs had computer, whirlpool, fitness room. Free breakfast and 15 tables in the dining room, which seemed more than adequate to keep you from having to hunt for a spot to sit. Usual breakfast items like scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, cereal, toast, pastries yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee. parking was very good. staff was very professional. breakfast was plentiful and tasty. workout area was sufficient. room was very large. walls must have been thin due to many noises heard thru the night. bed sheets were stained. hair (not from our party) was found thru-out the room.

Nice stay with a sumptuous breakfast The stay was nice and the hotel was in a nice area, next to the the Schaumburg mall. The breakfast was also nice and had a wide variety including noodles and rice! It was almost like a brunch spead and was a great value. The only negative was with the housekeeping - the coffee cups were stained and the room was […] not cleaned properly. We alfo found a grumpy housekeeping Mexican lady who told us to hurry up and check out at 11am when we were coming up from breakfast when the checkout is actually at 12pm. Other than that, it was a perfect stay. It was great for the money! Free breakfast and lots of options.

The hotel staff were very friendly however there was a huge disturbance at about 2am sunday morning with a wedding party staying there and the hotel staff did nothing to make it up to the other guests. There was screaming and fighting right outside my hotel room for about 40 minutes before anyone attempted to stop it. The staff apologized but did nothing […] else. The bed sheets were stained! The breakfast was bad! Eggs was watery? One could get food poisoning! This particular establishment needs to IMPROVE ON CLEANLINESS & FOOD PREPARATION! Especially with the prices they are charging? Absurd!

Nice, Clean, Front desk help a little slow, No Pool. Bathroom Small.

The room was not clean at all but it is a decent hotel, good breakfast, nice location and helpful staff.

This is a lovely, very clean hotel.... the only problem is the elevator sound. The call bell can be heard clear down the hall. They say they are working on it and it is up to the fire marshal. I understand that it needs a bell, but I am guessing the volume can be adjusted if they were to make an effort. Apparently I am not the first to complain about […] this. Started out with great front desk service and continued with nice breakfast selection and awesome directions anytime we wanted to go anywhere. Close to IKEA, Brookfield Mall, and Airport. No pool but does have a whirlpool. Front desk staff were always at the ready to give great service any way possible.

I had a nice stay in the hotel. Other than the scratchy sheets and bedspread that is common with hotels, the visit was great.

This is a fine place to stay except for one terrible fault - the ceiling/floors are paper thin and we could hear every footbeat of the people in the room above. The walls were not as bad, but I wish there was something that could be done about the very distracting noise level of those above, and presumably below us.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was much nicer that I had expected, especially for the price.

The rooms were great! The stay was easy to find and a great location.

This hotel was okay and in a convenient section of Schaumburg for us. They serve breakfast which is just okay. At first they wouldn't let us check in early but then were really nice and changed their minds. The pillows are a tad shorter than regular sized pillows, which is a little bit weird. Perfect location, veryfreindly and helpful staff

This Hotel was more than what I could of asked for. Clean room, great continental breakfast, very knowledgeable staff. We will not forget this Hotel specificly because we will be staying here again.

It looks like the Wingate by Wyndham has been recently rennovated. Rooms looked great. However it seems that they are still working out some bugs with the new room cards. Due to issues trying to get into my room (card wouldn't work, then door wouldn't open/unlock), I was switched from a King-bed suite to a double-Queen-bed suite, which was fine. Lots […] of space in the room; shower/tub a bit on the small side. Also, breakfast was supposed to last until 9:30 but was gone by 9. This hotel is a little dated and shows some wear. for instance, the A/C unit in the room is controlled at the unit rather than with a thermostat ... making it difficult to maintain the temperature in the room. Most modern hotels have thermostats in the rooms. Overall, it was an OK place to stay was it not for one serious issue ... I could not sleep […] because of the pillows. They were all very thick, hard and lumpy. I got very little sleep and woke up with neck pain and headaches most every day there. Some people may want these pillows, but I doubt many would. Most hotels put a combination of hard and soft pillows in each room so that guests have an option. All of these pillows were the same. Very nice for a family vacation. Breakfast was just ok.

We were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. When asking for directions, they printed out a map, and alternative routes to get around the toll roads.

The place is nice from the vestibule to the room space. The rooms are big and spacious, great flat screen TV's, microwave and refrigerator, hot tub in the hotel and a bar! Its surrounded by shopping centers from every direction. Nice area, plenty to do and close to Chicago.

elevator did not work, walls extremely thin, could hear people above walking around all night! breakfast sub par..

Could not sleep at all. wasted my money. I had read a review before I booked about the walking overhead and I thought " It couldn't be that bad". Boy was I wrong! We arrived at 10pm and left at 10am. We stayed there since it was a convienent location to do some Christmas shopping. The hotel was clean. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The room didn't smell like an old hotel room with the faint cig smoke odor.... It was a nice change from some others we've stayed at recently. The free breakfast was better […] than expected.... Pros: 1. The hotel rooms have good ceiling height. 2. The price was very attractive. 3. Great breakfast service. 4. Everything works Cons: 1. Creaky floors. 2. The open bar in the first floor can get very noisy. 3. Small mini sized pillows were not comfortable.
