The hotel is 50 meters from the train station. Very convenient to shopping and the tourist office. It was clean but somewhat threadbare.The staff was friendly and accomodating.Basic place to stay while in transit.

The room was lovely, very comfortable and the bathroom and bedroom were immaculately clean. I would definitely recommend it. The hotel is very close to the centre of the city, just a stones throw from the train station, tourist office and town hall. This convenience is fantastic but does come at a price as the outside street is extremely noisy from […] above 6am when they start street cleaning and collecting rubbish from the local restaurants... Also there is a lot of noise from the hotel room doors in the morning slamming (fire doors you see). It's a great place to stay but my advice would be to get an early night and not expect to get much sleep beyond 6am. Bring ear plugs if you can! 阅读更多信息

Stayed 3 nights, first 2 nights in a row, then one single nights few days after. Were located on the first floor, room 128 then 129. Both look on a roof and a wall, which is really therefore quiet, but as the hotel is opposite the train station and bus station, it was definitely the best, exterior noises are very limited, very easily acceptable. Rooms […] look is rather groovy, nice bathrrom style. For 128, no issues, very quiet. For 129, different, either we were very light sleepers that night or our neighbours were door bangers, overall i think the walls might be a bit thin. 129 is adjacent to a service room of some sorts as well which means staff were banging stuff at all hours in the morning, not cool. Both rooms had air conditioning, handy on a warm sunny summer's day in the touraine region. Location is great, bang on center of town, beside the stations, a little supermarket and just at the start of the rue de bordeaux, 3 minutes from rue nationale and about 10/15 mins to place plumereaux and rue colbert. I have been leaving abroad for years and it was great to show my place of birth to the future Madame. I would recommend and stay there again, good value for money. Didn't avail to breakfast so won't comment. Dealt with three diff people at reception, speaking french so not sure how they'd behave with other languages, but were all very nice to me when asked questions. Conveniently situated however customer service not good, only one very thin pillow on bed and despite asking at reception, we were told there were no more pillows available hence a poor nights sleep. This hotel is in a wonderfully central position and has retained many of its original architectural features. It has a slight air of 'faded grandeur' but still has great character and comfort. The staff were extremely helpful when we made requests of them. We recommend this hotel.

My husband and I were a little disappointed with the hotel, Granted it was the cheapest hotel of the 6 we stayed in during our trip to France, but I had hoped for more from the 3 stars. The hallways and room were dreary and the bed had only 2 small pillows. The shower required you hold the wand in your hand, making washing your hair difficult. The Hotel is in a great location, next to the TrainStation( but no noise from the Station) and in walking distance to everything you need or want to see.The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. We had car trouble and the Manager came with us to two repair shops to translate and we had to walk back from the repair shop (3/4 of a mile) […] this is SERVICE byond the normal.THANKS again Gabriel. This was my third stay here within four years. The other two times the hotel was owned by Best Western. I will continue to stay here because the location is excellent, the staff is nice, the hotel is very nice and wifi is free (not sure it was before, but it is now). The only improvement I could possibly make is getting a safe in each room for belongings. […] Also, be sure to bring your own bathroom soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion; only liquid soap is supplied and it's not great. I coordinate my visit to Tours with the Vitiloire wine festival (which is across the street!) and visits to the Loire valley chateaux. This hotel is next to the Gare (train station). It is so easy to walk off the train and into the hotel, yet it is not noisy and is an extremely safe area. I hope the rates will remain reasonable (I travel with a friend to split costs) so I can continue to stay here for years. THE HOTEL WAS EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED; NO BAD SURPRISES. THE HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND GLAD TO PROVIDE ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO CLUELESS TOURISTS. THE HOTEL DATES TO THE THIRTIES BUT IS WELL MAINTAINED . MY WIFE AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RETURN TO THIS HOTEL IF WE ARE EVER IN TOURS AGAIN.

bien central donc pratique un peu vieillot, 2 salles de bain mais une pas chauffée très bon acceuil revoir le dédommagement parking pas trouvé de miel ni fromage blanc au petit déj

中心街の駅前にあり、バスターミナル・地下駐車場も目の前です。少々ホテルは古いですが、部屋は広く特に問題ありませんでした。木曜の夜は大学生が週末を祝うため、少し騒がしい時間がありましたが、そんなに深夜までは続きませんでした。その他の日は特に問題ありません。中心街にも近く便利です。列車、バス、レンタカー等を使用する方に便利だと思います。

Categorie 3 etoiles, ne correspond pas à la réalité constatée. Chambre petite, pas d'espace pour circuler au pied du lit. Salle de bain minuscule. Avec seulement un bac à douche ou seul un enfant pouvait loger. Correspondait peut-êtrre aux normes des années 30, mais nous sommes en 2011.

Le Grand Hotel Tours sijaitsee aivan bussiaseman ja rautatieaseman vieressä, joten aamulla liikenne on jo aika mukava ja meteli sen vertoinen. Aamupala oli oikein hyvä ja huone oli siisti. Se sijaitsee hyvin kävelymatkan päässä vanhasta kaupungista, tuomiokirkosta ja museoista. Kannattaa ehdottomasti mennä yöpymään 20km kauemmaksi Asez-le-Rideaun hotelliin […] 'hotel le Biencourt' ja käydä katsomassa linnan iltaspektaakkeli. Le seul interrêt de cet hôtel est son emplacement à deux pas du centre ville pour faire du shooping. Autrement la chambre supérieur "rénovée" laisse à désirer pour le prix! Het hotel op zich is mooi en geheel in Art Deco stijl. Nadeel: Onze 2-persoons kamer was piepklein en de separate bedden waren ongelooflijk smal. Ook een nadeel is dat men de auto in de ondergrondse parkeergarage van het station moet parkeren en moet slepen met koffers e.d.. Er is geen plaats om even te parkeren om uit te laden en er is geen opgang […] vanuit de garage naar het hotel. De stationsbuurt is ook niet erg uitnodigend. Hotel de catégorie supérieur, bel emplacement en plein coeur de tours..... Juste un peu déçus par la robinetterie de la douche en mauvais état..

Et gammelt, slitent hotell. Mye støy, både fra andre gjester og gatene utenfor.
