The staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The food in the restaurant was quite bad, the breakfast ok though. The room was very cold and altough we complained about it it didn't get warmer. We just stayed for one night in business purposes so in that way it was fine. It wasn't awful - just not great.

The staff were really friendly once you grabbed their attention. Waited over half an hour for our 8.30 dinner booking and to make things worse there was no wine on the table when we sat down and had to ask for it!! AND when the Rose came it had not been chilled...oh dear!!! That apart we seemed to join a birthday celebration so had live music, which […] was great if you were in your 70's. It was the warmest night of the year, so we opened the window and it was like sleeping in an aircraft, with the fans blowing all night. the bed was comfy, the double room was small.
