"Not recommended at all in Papagayo"

All inclusive may sound good for this hotel, but there's a few things to know first. The quality of the food was AWFUL. The service was terrible and the rooms were run down as well. It smelled like feet in our room. Very low grade food, rooms and service to sum it all up. There is definitely so much better out near Papagayo.

The telephone did not work in our room. We were told it wouldn't be fixed. The in-room coffee maker had no pot. We were told it wouldn't be replced. The woman at the guest services office was unhelpfula nd had a really bad attitude. we were always told "come back in an hour" or "come back tomorrow". "Unhappy with Costa Rica Experience" covers it pretty well. This resorts need an upgrade. Low grade rooms, food, and service. There is much better out there!

This hotel is old and even though the owners have started to do a make over they have a long way to go. The room required mainteance on the AC, toilet, and curtains. The hotel only had enough towels to allow one per guest and only one wash cloth for the room. If you required mote towels you had to bring one from the pool.
