Nice room...friendly staff

I was surprised with this Days Inn hotel, it was better than I expected for the price that I payed.

I went there for lasik surgery.. the hotel met all my needs.

This was a GREAT stay for the price I will be going back...

This hotel was so cute. The room was very clean. NO BED BUGS! And it was extremely quiet. The heater worked, the TV worked, everything was very nice. The room had a sofa in it, cofee table, king size bed, desk, very nice. I will stay there again.

The hotel was older, but the room was clean and seemed to be in good shape. However, when I went to check in, the manager tried to charge my credit card a second time and then argued with me that I hadn't prepaid. This Days Inn is a great value. It appeared to have been recently completely remodeled. I was surprised that the road signage wasn't more visible for such a nice place. The only thing I would change is a brighter light bulb for at least one fixture, preferably the desk lamp or over the sofa.

Decent location close to I-95 but not so close that you are listening to the cars roar by. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Only there for an over night stay. For those traveling with a trailer or large vehicle beware, the parking lot is very small.

It was a really cheap hotel, you get what you pay for in other words. No exciting amenities but it was perfect for in-between locations from the interstate, not far from it at all so it mad it convenient to get to surrounding locations.

Me and my friend stayed here for two nights to go to a concert near Richmond. The People Checking us in were great and the room was ok. Internet needs fixing, Best Western next door jams their signal. Continental breakfast was very limited not usual standard of Days Inn.

The hotel was clean, however there was an odor in the lobby and in the hallways, They need to do a better job with the smoke in the hallways or move the no smoking rooms to a separate floor.

Horibble! I reserved 2 rooms. We checked in Fri. night, I open the door the door to the 1st room and the smell of moldy, musty, mildew hit you in the face like a brick wall. I inspected the room and the mini fridge had a wet MOLDY spot under the corner of it on the carpet the circumfrence size of a football. I went to the front desk and was told " I […] do not know what you want me to do, I cannot give you another room". I explained to them I did not want another room I wanted the spot cleaned and maybe that would get rid of the smell we were stepping out for dinner and if they could clean it while we were out. Upon returning 2 hrs. later the spot and smell were still there I went back to the desk and was told "well my mgr. told me not to go in your room w/o u there, I cant do anything about it, here is a can of air freshener". We had to go back out to the store and buy a box of baking soda and dump it on the floor over the area and use air freshener which neither helped.. Now onto the 2nd room - NO smoke detector - just wires hanging from the ceiling, the hair dryer was plugged into the wall I removed the plug to use my curling - the plug for the hair dryer was broken (had been for quite some time by lookin at it) one of the plugs remained in the socket while the other remained in the (cracked/half there) plug. Talk about fire hazard with NO smoke detector in your room NICE! Sat. there was no coffee and stael cereal. Sunday there was no juice, no cereal no bread and no milk! only coffee and instant packet oatmeal which, I dont how you would make it as there was no hot water carafe and you had to use a styrofoam bowl which will not do well in microwave. Clean, newer small hotel. Maybe only 40 rooms. Free breakfast was light coffee w/ powdered cream, supermarket boxed donuts, and small selection of cereals. Left my home pillow, they did not save, no pillow 3 days later on my way back.

The second floor of hotel smells like smoke but rooms are reasonable price.... I would not have sat down on the sofa in my room if my life depended on it... It was just that nasty. Cable and internet were nice.

Upon arrival there was an odor at the registration area. Our toilet was broken so we had to switch rooms. The second room was extremely hot and the A/c never worked properly.

The hotel was nice for the cheat price. I had no major complains. The only suggestions would be for the rooms to have pens and paper in the room like most hotels I stayed. The other suggestion would be to have better privacy on bottom floor. The windows only have block out curtains which is nice if u are sleeping and don't want any light coming in but […] if you want sun light you have to open curtains which means everyone can see in your room. Very nice hotel Clean Great Value Will stay there again.

Travelling with family down the Eastern seaboard, this motel suited our needs fine. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Upon arrival, we were informed that the outside doors are locked after 11:00 pm and we would need to use the room key to gain entry to the motel...a nice piece of information for peace of mind. (The motel is not in a bad […] area of town...just a little extra assurance that my family would be safe.) The rooms are generous in size and included a coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and a microwave...all of which were clean. Overall, the room was clean (sheets, towels, surface areas, carpet). However, upon closer inspection one will find dirt in the corners of the room where the mop and/or vacuum cleaner doesn't reach. The motel is relatively new, but unless the rooms are deep-cleaned periodically, I can forsee this motel becoming run-down. The continental breakfast that was included as part of the room rate is a joke. The coffee is really weak, the orange juice was completely watered down, and there were few choices (toast, cereal, or donuts). We chose to find breakfast at one of the many fast-food restaurants around the motel. Overall, I was satisfied with the motel. I've taken my youth group to Kings Dominion for this festival weekend for several years now. I've stayed at many different hotels. This is the best one for the price that I've found in the area! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Our only complaint is that the continental breakfast consists of bannanas, two choices of cereal, […] milk, orange juice, apple juice, bread, and powerdered doughnuts. This is a lovely indoor motel at a very reasonable price in the Richmond area.

exercise room (closet) used as a smokers lounge. Halls smelled badly. If your idea of breakfast is a banana and fruit-loops, this is your place. Hair balls in the corners was not an indicator of good cleaning

What a great motel with an excellent location. Front desk was very nice and made us feel like theyve known us for years. clean rooms with a nice big bathroom. stayed here for the nascar race and was only 6 miles from track and located close to places to eat and a harley shop...there was never any traffic and a very quiet neighborhood

Very nice room for a very reasonable price. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean as well. Room even had coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator. Continental Breakfast provided. I plan to stay here again when visiting my daughter in Richmond, VA and would recommend this hotel to others.

This Days Inn is an amazing find for the price especially in the Richmond area. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot were wonderful to have for a longer stay. The bedding was clean and in good shape. The room was very clean. My only less positive comments are that the hallways smell of cigarette smoke […] given that some of the rooms are smoking, though we saw that the staff tried to deal with this, and that the bed frames are too large and have pieces sticking out that each of hit at least once--cut these off would be my recommendation. But otherwise, it was a lovely hotel that felt very safe in a great area close to highway 95. Having looked for hotels in that area before, this is definitely one we would return to again. 阅读更多信息

It was affordable and clean.

Though nested in a busy commercial district, the hotel was very quiet--could not hear street traffic. The room was tidy and spacious; the bathroom was clean and smelled fresh. However, the refrigerator did not chill and we found food from a past guest in the microwave. Also, didn't like that the TV remote only changed channels--did not change volume […] or power on/off. The guy who checked me in was very friendly and nice. The security is pretty tight. The maid service was lacking, we had to go get our own towels. The room was clean, but not as clean as it could be. The hallway and foyer smelled a little funky, but the room smelled fine. The internet speed was *blazing*. The A/C, fridge, microwave, etc all worked […] fine. Motel could have had signs from highway, but there were none. However motel was not hard to find. Room was clean but meager. There was no pen or pad. However it had a fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast was pretty meager also. There was no decaf there.

Large comfortable room. Quiet. Good internet. Everything required for a working stay!

This truly was the worst hotel I have ever stay at. The smell was horrible. I still get nauseating thinking of the smell. The staff was extremely unpleasant and they would not let me check in until they received paper work from hotels.com. DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Okay neighborhood, very close to the conference I was attending so it was very convenient for me. A few miles from the highway. Nice people at the front desk, Indian or Pakistani family.
