Hotel Scandic Palace is a good hotel situated very well in the center of Tallinn, 100 meters from the old town. The staff is very service minded and the breakfast is very nice.

We stayed 2 nights with an 11 months baby and a four year old child. We took a taxi from the airport and unfortunately taxis in Tallinn do not provide child seats, so we had to have the baby on our lap. The cost was 11 Euros and it took about 15 minutes. The hotel had prepared a cot in the (large) room and a foldable bed for our child. the cot was […] very good and of a good make, however the foldable bed had seen better days and the mattress was extremely soft. Those things were pointed out to the hotel's reception and hopefully they have already done something about it. The beds for the adults were very nice, however the room we were in was too warm. Considering that the hotel is very central and therefore the traffic surrounding it is heavy, the last thing you want to do is open the windows for some (polluted) air, therefore the room's temperature is rather important. The gym is small but very modern, it looks brand new actually, and its free. It's open 24/7. It has 2 treadmills, free weights, a spinnig bike, and a machine to work your upper body. The "play area" consists of a Playstation 3 with one game only (we asked if they had other games but they don't) and a little plastic bucket with some wooden toys. The breakfast buffé was fantastic, and the restaurant in the evening has a wide variety of choices and reasonable prices, (we ate there once). Just a shame that the breakfast does not start before 7am when you have kids who are up at 5:30 am. We took a bus on the way back that was literally 200 meters from the hotel. It was free for the kids and 2 Euros per adult. The bus was empty apart from us, and in many ways more pleasant than the taxi. Hope this helps. 阅读更多信息

Opposite Freedom Square, this hotel is on the edge of the Old Town but still has easy access to public transport. It retains some of its 1930s charm and judging from the prominent photos of VIPs using the hotel it still attracts Heads of State to its Presidential Suite. Checked in 3 hours early, on arrival! Room was very large, especially for Europe, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed and more. No extra charge for our two children, because it's a Scandic! Staff was very friendly, really helpful about tour pickups, trolley, tram and bus stop locations and times, knowledgeable about sites and shopping and […] all-round fantastic! The buffet breakfast was large and varied and quite good, a great start to a full day of sight-seeing. Free wireless internet, and cable tv were great added amenities. The hotel was located right on Freedom Square, about a one block walk to the "old town", close to the Viru shopping mall and the Teaduskeskus Science Centre. All public transportation has stops at the intersection just outside the hotel, and taxis were always available, right outside, as well! The hotel itself was tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean and quiet. We couldn't ask for more. We had read a couple negative reviews here, but saw very positive reviews on another travel site - we did NOT experience any of those negatives! We are Canadians, living in Europe right now, so compared the Scandic Palace to both North American and European hotel experiences. The Scandic Palace is a fine hotel. Just fine. Not great, not horrible. I thought it charged a bit much for what it was.

Poor quality breakfast, bed was worn out, it had an additional thin mattress on the main mattress to give extra strength, poor shower design - cant wash without hitting the tap and turning the water off

Kävelymatka lyhyt niin vanhaan kaupunkiin kuin keskustaankin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelu pelasi. Voi suositella kavereillekin.

Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla vanhankaupungin reunalla. Raatihuoneentorille käveli 5 min ja satamaan 15-20 min. Hotellin ja huoneen siisteys yllätti positiivisesti, kun vertasi mielikuvaa aiemmista palautteista. Ystäviemme huone oli vielä siistimpi ja mm. kylpyhuone oli juuri uusittu.

два мелких неудобства - отсутствие собственной бесплатной (есть городская, за 8Е в сутки - через дорогу) парковки, и не говорящий по-русски персонал. в остальном - отличная гостиница, всячески рекомендую.

Хороший отель, чистый, в удобном месте, с вежливым персоналом. Хороший завтрак. Единственный минус (не для всех) - платная сауна.

желание быть святее папы римского привело к тому, что мы с мужем,будучи курящими людьми, вынуждены были выходить из отеля (!) на улицу, чтобы удовлетворить свою, пусть пагубную, но потребность. Как школьники в подворотне... Было бы неплохо иметь в отеле курительную комнату. И еще одна деталь. Сотрудники на ресепшене категорически не говорят по-русски. […] Хорошо, что мой муж - эстонец, не забывший язык. Lage des Scandic Palace liegt günstig zur Ober-/Unterstadt, allerdings verfügt das Hotel über keine Klimaanlage und ein Fenster öffnen ist zumindest zur Straßenseite hin wegen des Verkehrslärms undenkbar.

Vi reiste på en spontan weekend-tur til Tallinn i begynnelsen av juli, og bodde 3 netter på Scandic Palace. Det er kanskje ikke det mest moderne hotellet jeg har vært borti, men alt i alt bra nok. Rommet vårt var stort, men kanskje litt mørkt og dystert. Vi hadde vindu ut mot en trafikkert gate. Det var stille og rolig på kvelden/natten. Minus var at […] de ikke hadde air-condition eller noen helst form for vifter. Det ble ganske varmt på natten (27 grader) :( Lobbyen og frokostområdet var moderne og veldig fint. Personalet på hotellet var veldig hjelpsomme, både når det gjaldt veibeskrivelser og info om nærområdet. I tillegg hadde de et lite mini-apotek med plaster, bandasjer og slikt hvor vi fikk tak i hodepinetabletter sent en kveld da apoteket var stengt. Stort pluss! De solgte tannbørster og slikt også. Frokosten var veldig god og bestod av alt fra varmretter som egg, bacon, pølser til alt du kan tenke deg av frokostblandinger, frukt og pålegg. Veldig ok og en fin start på dagen. Ett hotell som på de flesta sätt var OK, men bristen på P-plats eller garage för vettiga pengar i anslutning drog ner betyget. Avsaknaden av AC gjorde natten till en plåga. Suynd på ett annars bra hotell i det yttersta av kvarter man fortfarande kan klassa som statdskärna.

mukava hotelli ja ystävällinen palvelu, joskin hotelln ikä näkyi jossain määrin. Kätevästi vanhan kaupungin kupeessa, matkaa satamasta n 1 km, olimme 4:n 9-12 vuotiaan kanssa ja he viihtyivät myös ja vastaanotossa ystävällinen palvelu, hyvä ja monipuolinen aamiainen. Liikenteen melu ei kuulunut huoneisiin eikä muutakaan hälyä.

Ytterst bra läge. Gångavstånd till både gamla stan och shopping.

Detta är ett trevligt och prisvärt hotellalternativ som är beläget precis utanför gamla staden i Tallinn. Efter bara en kort promenad är man dock inne vid rådhustorget. Placeringen är även mycket lämplig för kollektivtrafiken även till andra delar av staden och det är en ganska kort promenad till två större köpcentra.

Ihan mukava hotelli Tallinnassa. Hotellilla ei ole omaa pysäköintiä, mutta tien toisella puolella Vapauden Aukion vieressä on maksullinen (6 € vrk) parkkialue, jossa pidimme autoa pari yötä. Annan mielelläni neljä tähteä ystävällisestä palvelusta ja siisteydestä. Kaikki toimi moitteettomasti ja sijainti on erinomainen. Myös aamiainen oli hyvä.

Hyggelig hotell i litt eldre stil sentralt beliggende like ved gamlebyen i Tallin. Restaurant gater og shopping sentre er i gangavstand fra hotellet, Fin frokostbuffet, hyggelig betjening er med på å gi en hyggelig atmosfære.

Melkoisen kulahtanut hotelli mutta hyvä sijainti. Huone oli parhaimmat päivänsä nähnyt jo edellisellä vuosisadalla - kylpyhuone oli kosteusvaurioinen, huone haisi lialle ja minibaarikaan ei kylmentynyt. Hotelli oli ilmeisesti remontoitu silloin kun Viro itsenäistyi ja sen jälkeen ei oltu tehty mitään, kunto oli sen mukainen. Sijainti oli kuitenkin […] loistava ja autonkin sai oven eteen parkkiin. Hotellin sijainti mukavasti linnan läheisyydessä ja lyhyt matka vanhaan kaupunkiin. Hotellin muuten ok, mutta aamiaisella oli liian vähän henkilökuntaa, niin että koko ajan puuttui astioita, kahvit ja mehut olivat loppu, ja tarjoilulautaset olivat tyhjiä.

Avoid rooms on street sides; no a/c and if you open windows it gets very noisy. Toilet was smelly and shower floods the whole toilet floor! Room had a dusty smell, thick air due to heat and no a/c. Breakfast and location was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Let adgang til den gamle by med alle seværdigheder

Ett bra läge för kulturella ändamål. Om man är där för nöjen bör man välja ett mer centralt hotell. Jämfört med andra hotell i Tallinn, så är frukosten en av dom sämsta. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, dock väldig ung personal. Inget för bilburna resenärer, då man saknar parkeringsplatser. Ett stort plus till ett mycket mycket fräscht gym.

Det var trafikkbråk fra gaten, og rommet hadde ikke noe klimaanlegg som er anført under fasiliteter. Klimaanlegget var ei gulvvifte. Det var derfor meget varmt på rommet, noe som var veldig ubehagelig spesielt på natten. Betjeningen var heller ikke særlig imøtekommende. Ettersom vi kun skulle være på dette hotellet i et par netter, godtok vi det slik […] det var. Vil derimot poengtere at det finnes andre hoteller i Tallinn som man lett kan velge fremfor dette hotellet, og da til tilsvarende pris. 阅读更多信息

Bra läge, saknade parkering, störande trafikljud. Lite slitet. Bra frukost. I stort sett nöjda
