Situated right next door to Meijer's so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find friendly staff, comfy room, very clean hotel. We loved that the room was ready for us even though we arrived after midnight. Many hotels leave the A/C off until the guest arrives but someone had turned ours on before we arrived so the room was […] cool. We had a great nights sleep and a pleasant breakfast. My wife and I were very happy with the accommodations of this Hotel. We've stayed here several times and have always been pleased.

There was a great sense of comfort with the kind geniune spirit of the young man that checked me in. He was very nice, professional, skilled, knowledgeable, and patient. Great job young man!

This was a wonderful hotel with a great staff! Just a little note. I have 3 children who bring stuffed animals with them. The cleaning staff was so wonderful and personable that they "tucked in" my children's stuffed animals after cleaning the room. Another example was the wonderful attendant who held breakfast open for us because we were running a […] little behind the day of our departure. Just a fabulous hotel! The breakfast was excellent enough to save a family of 5 at least $40.00 per day. The pool was indoor (a must in Michigan). The rooms were extremely clean (I carry a UV black light into hotels!). The other facilities were above par. Two minor negatives. If you are looking for views from your window, this is not your hotel. However, being 1.5 hours from Traverse City and other wonderful sites in Michigan makes up for it! Second, there was smokers on our floor (and this is a non-smoking hotel). The Country Inn & Suites in Big Rapids, MI is a lovely hotel, close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. The service was first-rate, the room was spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculate. Bathroom was well-appointed, and once again, immaculate. The continental breakfast was wonderful -- lots of hot items such as bacon, French toast and sausage, […] and plenty of healthy choices like oatmeal and fresh fruit. Everything was as expected, clean & neat room, good breakfast, no hassles. Easy to find from the highway. I would recommend this hotel.

Front staff was very friendly at 12 am. We checked out at 5am. Clean and simple no frills hotel near the highway. There are tons of places to eat nearby. Lots of parking room in back of hotel and next door at Meijers

A new comfortable Country Inn Hotel located in a University city, Big Rapids. Room was a nice size and nicely decorated. Restaurants located near-by.
