Hotel Rural S'Olivaret - 阿拉罗

I stayed here with my wife for 2 days in October 2011. The finca is beautifully maintained and has wonderful grounds and views over the nearby mountains. Not a big thing, the other gusts were all quiet and well behaved! Buffet breakfast had lots of variety and was a real pleasure each morning, taken on the patio with a great view of the sun coming up over the mountains. We were a bit worried about eating at the hotel, given some other reviews but need not have been. Perhaps they have a new chef now? The food was fantastic and given the quality, fair value for money (we had the set menu - the a la carte menu was a bit more expensive) We did not get round to using the pool, but it looked very inviting, set in lovely gardens. The other communal areas of the hotel are well maintained, immaculately clean and full of interesting historical artifacts. There were no children there when we stayed, I think this would better suit couples who want to get away from the more busy resorts. It is a car trip from a beach - you would certainly need a car if you want to stay here - other than the fantastic mountains there is not alot else around which was great for us but not for everyone I guess. In summary a great little place with tons of character, very clean, friendly and ideal for a romantic getaway if you want a taste of the 'real' majorca! 阅读更多信息
