My young daughters and I stayed here overnight one night. I was afraid of the neighborhood and wouldn't recommend this location based solely on safety. Plusses of this hotel: the proprietor was very friendly, the rooms, while outdated and rickety, were clean and spacious. "Breakfast" offerings were laughable. Not a fancy place, but fine for an overnight stay. I don't know about the breakfast, I didn't try it since it was over at 9:00 and I wanted to sleep in.

The building & furnishings are showing some age, but it was clean and conveniently located close to I-5. The check-in/check-out was quick and efficient. I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay in this area.

I think this is a old Ramada Inn. The staff is nice.. the clientel is not so impressive. I got the impression there were people living at this hotel. Bring your tank top or bootie shorts, you'll fit right in.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times -- the first time was because there was no available rooms from Tacoma to Fife. We continue to stay here because while this might not be a luxury stay, the rooms are clean, the location is easy to get to and from, and the prices are affordable. Big room for a good price!

The hotel's appearance does not match with the friendly service and clean rooms. The breakfast was basic but the coffee was always hot. The lobby was customer friendly and comfortable. The computer available for guest use was as good as any hotel we have stayed in. This motel is a good deal for the price. It was convenient to all the places I had to visit and was close to Enterprise Rent A Car where I got my rental vehicle. There is a casino across the street which was not in the best condition, but a mall is close by for shopping convenience. I was so afraid to stay another night that I took my daughter and stayed somewhere else! Meth Heads in the parking lot everywhere. Prostitutes in the parking lot right outside our ground level room. Scary experience!

the staff tried to be helpful, but they had never heard of the 'complimentary use of nearby fitness facilities'. Complimentary breakfast consisted of waffles only every day. We had small ants in our room. Otherwise, it was quiet and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms are old but the price is right if you just need a place to sleep. Quiet but maybe that's because the restaurant next door was closed.

The staff were friendly and helpful - the room was nice. For a budget motel, they do a good job. In-room coffee would have been nice, but the pot in the office was always full. When I travel to this area again, I'll re-book.

Bathrooms and linens were clean and fresh. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Management personnel were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was that the Wi Fi accessability was very poor.

THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND WAS QUICK WITH THE CHECK IN. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND IN GOOD REPAIR, EVEN THOUGH IT IS AN OLDER MOTEL.

My stay at the Western Inn was very nice the room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

I booked this place due to good reviews particularly one calling it a "diamond in the rough," which I'd say was a bit of an exaggeration. The room was very very clean (my sensitive nose picked up no significant odors), yet the sheets were worn out (numerous holes) and the plumbing was irritating and VERY noisy at night. The sink faucet was unprofessionally […] installed so that getting a stream of cold water was a research project. The tub was nice but its faucet was reversed so I either scalded myself or froze my b--- off trying to figure out its idiosyncrases. The facial tissue dispenser had one sheet left - great. (The proprietors were clear, and most likely sincere, in their request to tell them if there was a problem - but let's be honest, some things are a matter of routine maintenance and thoughtfulness.) The people there were nice enough and the interior grounds well kept except for the curb appeal or rather lack thereof - huge weeds all over the exterior making it look nearly abandoned. I actually avoided having a friend visit me there because I was frankly ashamed of the place and how it reflected on me. At night I worried about my new car and whether it would still be there when the sun came up. When I arrived I was told about the complementary "continental breakfast" and that it was "nothing very big." I'll say! My choice was either a standard motel waffle or prepackaged "muffin," period. The OJ came out of an electric drink dispenser, no milk, just weak coffee and juice. For the money I would look for another venue with nicer appearance and real restaurants I could walk to (Dairy Queen and Ivar's don't count). It's a bit run down and not the best place in town, but we were met with a friendly smile and were overall happy about our stay.

The hotel is modest. Don't expect more for the price than you should. As always, don't let the desk clerk photocopy your driver's license. There is no necessary reason to do this and it is not secure.

When I booked this hotel, I was very skeptical because it wasn't part of a chain and the reviews online were only mediocre. I told my husband I wasn't sure about it, and then the rest of our team also stayed here because we did. The price was considerably lower than the host hotel for the tournament guests. Western Inn was closer to our destination […] anyways. I was very, very impressed when we checked in. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a microwave/fridge in our room and the bathroom was nice as well. My favorite thing was that the tub had a tile shelf for shampoos and soaps to sit instead of a tiny little corner, in hopes they don't slide off. We requested a non-smoking room on the lower level and got just that without any hassle at all. The only thing I can think that I wish would have been better would be the directions we got from the desk person to a restraunt... she wasn't very knowledgeable and didn't seem to understand English very well. She was very nice though and did her best so I was still satisfied and able to get where I needed to go. 阅读更多信息

The beds were extremely hard and very uncomfortabe to sleep on and when we went to have breakfast there, no milk was offered

This hotel was perfectly located within 1/4 mile of the crossroads of 1-5 and Hwy 512. The surrounding ares is in need of updating, but it was clean, quiet, comfortable and the right price for our 2 night stay. This hotel is ONE exit from the McChord military base, pefects for visitors or folks who are waiting to fly out of the base. The folks running […] the hotel are so nice. They were constantly cleaning, sweeping, greeting folks... glad there's still a budget friendly hotel in the area without the absorbanant rates! I WILL stay here on my next visit and would HIGHLY recommend others to stay here also. I gave a 4 for the condition of the hotel because it's not new, not new furniture, but that shouldn't deter anyone. You should feel confident in booking this hotel.
