Victoria & Alfred Hotel - 开普敦

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times, the position and the setting is great, if possible pay the extra and get a mountain facing room.

We had a lovely room with open views to the waterfront and Table Mountain. The hotel is charming and inviting. The location was steps away from the action,restaurants,Robbens Island and the aquarium.My only complaint was that the elevator was out of order for a day. The exercise was good for us so we didn't mind and made lite of the situation.

The position of the hotel is right on the Waterfront. You can enjoy the music from the local musicians through open windows, but the rooms are nice and quiet if you close them. Excellent service. Lovely hotel, super breakfast complete with bubbly and oysters (if you like them). The location of the V&A is great. You have bars, restaurants, shops, tour starts blue , red and night bus on your door step. The service and attention of the staff was very personal and made me feel very safe and welcome in Cape Town. The location right on the Waterfront can not be matched. Best breakfast I have ever had and amazing to eat it while you watched the sea lions playing in the harbour….

This hotel is in a great location and is a very nice place to stay. The breakfast is great, though often a bit slow. One recommendation - book your Robbin Island tour early as they sell out on the day of. We missed it :(.

Great surroundings and very convenient location. Hotel clean & most staff members friendly and approachable. Our room had a great view of table mountain. Few issues with regards to our stay: We had luke warm water (not hot) on most days for showering and no change to water temperature despite someone attempting to rectify the problem. This is a superb hotel. We had a loft room, smaller than the others but still very comfortable and with a nice view over the ferris wheel. Extremely well situated for dining, shopping and popular tours. The room was well appointed and the staff very polite and helpful.

Have never stayed at a better hotel! Staff couldn't do enough for you. Five star treatment all the way.

The V & A is in a great location on the popular Waterfront, surrounded by many restaurants and with spectacular views from the large, well appointed rooms with a mountain view, of Table Mountain. Helpful staff, and would recommend the restaurant which is as good, if not better than many in the surrounding area. Right on the waterfront and just steps from the Mall and wonderful restaurants. V&A service was outstanding! We'd definitely stay at the Victoria & Alfred again.

With only six beautifully furnished rooms, a lovely private garden and pool area and staff who strive to meet your every need, this is the place to stay on a visit to 'the mother city'...if you can afford it, that is.

Excellent location for exploring and enjoying the waterfront. We had a large very comfortable room, good that WC and shower/bath are separate as we were a family of three sharing. The service was professional, friendly and prompt,. The only problem was the very slow and inadequate internet speed and the hotel lacks a business centre so this is not an […] appropriate venue if the guest needs to do significant business at the hotel. We had a room facing the harbour & the mountains, one could observe not nly the activities going on at the harbour but also the seals swimming in the water as well as soaking up the sun. The Hotel is situated at the waterfront with all the hussle & bussle but it was very quite at night. The breakfast was excellent including oysters with bubbly.

Hotel was quite good. The staff ( especially the waiters and butlers) were exceptional. Rooms were quiet even though hotel is located in busy waterfront. Housekeeping was impressive. Will certainly recommend hotel

Läget är oslagbart, nära till allt i waterfront och lätt att ta sig ut i kapstaden med taxi utanför hotellet. Hotellet erbjuder också egen chaufför till flygplatsen som är samma pris som taxi men mycket bekvämare. Frukost på morgonen ute på kajen är helt underbart! Jag rekomenderar verkligen detta hotell!

Proximo a restaurantes e pontos turisticos otimo para quem nao quer ficar isolado, para nao precisar pegar taxi toda hora

Jeg hadde et oppdrag i Cape Town og trengte et hotell nær stedet jeg skulle besøke og i nærheten til waterfront med shopping senter og en smak av S.Afrika... og dette hotellet passet kjempe bra ! Ved neste oppdrag i Cape Town kommer jeg tilbake !
