We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was within walking distance of the old part of Ghent and it offered excellent value and atmosphere for the price. The Hotel De Flanders is very well positioned to reach the Historic quarter of Gent. Refurbishment of the external frontage meant the hotel did not look so inviting. Once inside the reception was very friendly - giving advice on the highlights of Gent. Our room on the 4th floor consisted of a two levels - bathroom downstairs with an excellent upstairs […] bedrrom with vaulted ceiling. This suited us well but people with mobility problems may be better served by booking a room on another floor. There was an extensive choice for breakfast. Great hotel, perfect location. Staff very friendly. Very good breakfast selection!!

We booked this hotel last minute and were unable to get a room that included breakfast. The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The price of breakfast was 20 euros/person so we passed on that and found a nice waffle/coffee shop a few blocks away.

Really convenient for the heart of Gent - an historic building but the decor of the hotel is very stylish and modern. 4* and just round the corner from the Marriott but tons more individual and quirky. Friendly service. A great hotel for a great city.

This hotel was central to the important scenic sites in Ghent. It was far from the train station, but easily reached by tram to and from the station. Breakfast, which I eschewed, was way over priced. Didn't learn anything about Internet access.

We would not recommend room 333. It is right next to the street which although not extremely busy is very noisy. There is also a random pole in the room which is bizarre. The bathroom is basic. Definitely not like other 4 stars we have stayed in. The location is very convenient for the centre was is the only plus point we could find.

The hotel itself was nice but for a business traveler the Marriot offers more. Tiffany at the front desk was great. I have traveled to a lot of places and she by far was the best I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Like I said the hotel is nice and cozy with a courtyard you can sit and have some drinks while being outside. The room […] was O.K. a little small but clean and functional. Modern, tasteful, clean and comfortable hotel. The shower was amazing! Located 5 mins from the centre - perfect as during Ghent fest the centre of town can be really noisy all night long! Small supermarket right opposite is very handy.

The Hotel is generally convenient for the city centre though a fair distance from the Railway Station. The facilities are good but it would be better if Tea and Coffee facilities were available in the rooms, something I would expect in a hotel of this quality, Service at the reception desk is excellent but the promised WiFi in the rooms is extremely […] expensive and it is inconvenient to have to go to the desk to set it up. We went there for our anniversary weekend: the hotel is just around the corner from our favourite restaurant, Korenlei Twee. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. The one drawback was the noise from what seemed to be a cistern filling and emptying somewhere...

This hotel is so central it's fantastic, if you are travelling by car there is no parking though. It was clean and very quiet, and the reception staff were verry friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was that there was no kettle in the room so we couldn't enjoy our morning cuppa, but you are so near cafes outside it wasn't a big prblem. Mooi hotel, middenin het centrum van Gent. Hadden een executieve room geboekt, deze was ruim met een goed tweepersoonsbed, ruime badkamer met ligbad. Enige nadeel was dat er 's morgen rond een uur of 8 al aardig wat bedrijvigheid in de straat was, waardoor we wel vroeg wakker werden. Als je ongestoord wilt uitslapen dan zou ik vragen om een kamer aan […] de tuinzijde van het hotel! Excellent accueil, toute l'équipe de la réception est sympathique et vraiment très serviable. Chambre très calme (donnant sur l'arrière) et spacieuse. Proximité immédiate du centre historique (à 5 mn à pied). Petit-déjeuner très cher, comme partout, mais à moins de 10 mn à pied, juste à côté de l'office de tourisme (situé près du château) le restaurant […] Bord'eau propose une très bonne qualité de petit-déjeuner à prix vraiment très raisonnable et avec une jolie vue sur la rivière. 阅读更多信息

Geweldig hotel ,alles netjes verzorgd,uitstekend personeel zeer klant vriendelijk,zeker een aanrader voor onze vriendenkring.

Hotel muy céntrico, edificio antiguo restaurado con un jardín interior muy agradable. Las habitaciones sencillas pero cómodas y modernas y el baño amplio y cómodo. Impresionante desayuno. No hay wifi!!!!

Goed ontbijt Nette kamer.. Wel veel geluid op straat, maar ja het was een zaterdagavond. Wel jammer dat wij met onze vrienden niet naast elkaar zaten terwijl we toch samen geboekt hebben in 1 boeking. 24 uurswinkel in de buurt. Leuke omgeving. In het centrum. 2 Parkeergarages in de buurt(10euro per 24 uur).

O hotel é bem localizado, perto da Catedral. O quarto é bem espaçoso para os padrões Europeus. Recomendo.

TB bon accueil, chambres tout confort. Ma chambre sur rue était un peu bruyante mais il suffit je pense de demander une chambre au calme. Pdj TB servi; personnel gentil et serviable

Wij hebben ons verblijf als zeer prettig ervaren. Het hotel is erg leuk, ziet er geweldig mooi uit, aardig personeel en we waren zeer verrast over onze loft-kamer, erg leuk! Daarnaast is de ligging fantastisch, de hoek om en je staat op de Graslei. Paar puntjes van kritiek, het was erg warm op de kamer en bij het ontbijt stonden de tafels erg dicht […] op elkaar (in de kleine ruimte), waardoor je niet rustig zat omdat mensen er steeds langs moesten. Hôtel remarquablement situé, à 200 mètres du coeur historique. Hôtel confortable, personnel efficace et discret. Notre chambre donnait sur la rue. En l'absence d'un double vitrage, cela s'avère un peu bruyant, même si la rue n'est pas très passante la nuit.

Fick mycket fin hjälp med att ordna flygboardingen på vår resa hem. Fick hjälp med att hitta rätt på personer i Gent så service i receptionen var helt underbart fin.

Voor een goede prijs konden we samen met een bevriend stel twee kamers op dit hotel boeken voor twee overnachtingen inclusief ontbijt. Parking P7 (Sint-Miechiels) ligt zeer dichtbij en kost 10 euro per 24 uur. Het hotel ligt in het centrum en nabij alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden. De ontvangst was netjes en vriendelijk, alles was goed voorbereid […] en de tassen werden in bewaring genomen bij vroege aankomst. Het was erg warm, 30+ graden en dat merkte je 's nachts. De airco's konden het op alle kamers niet aan. De thermometer gaf 29+ graden aan en dat was in de ochtend nog steeds zo, hoewel de airco de hele nacht had lopen loeien. Hier zou nog aan worden gewerkt na ons vertrek. Dit was voor ons het enige nadeel van het verblijf. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en het was erg fijn om in de binnenplaats te kunnen ontbijten. Nous avons séjourné déjà 2 fois dans cet hotel et nous en sommes très contents. Il se situe à quelques mètres du centre de Gand. Le personnel est accueillant et les chambres charmantes, loin des chambres d'hotel aseptisées des grandes chaines. Un conseil: demandez une chambre loft: celles-ci se présentent sous forme de mini duplex dans le toit. Opzich een mooi hotel, centraal gelegen. De kamer was groot evenals de badkamer. Heerlijk ontbijt met een royale keuze. Min punten waren het vieze tapijt in de slaapkamer waardoor ik niet op blote voeten wilde lopen en ook jammer was dat het douchescherm op het bad niet goed aansloot waardoor de badkamervloer drijfnat was en met 2 handdoeken gedroogd […] moest worden. 阅读更多信息
