This was the last stop on our way home and with sa ying that this room was the best of all the orthers. every thing was wonderful. Thankyou, Fred ps Our trip was 13 nights

The Sonora Days Inn is a regular stop as we drive west. The hotel itsself is an older hotel, but it is well maintained and comfortable. The breakfast is served next door in a restaurant and is very good. Unlike other reviews I have read, the desk staff is helpful and courteous and after a 8 hour drive, I would not lie. My fiancé and I stopped here on our way to California at around midnight. The front desk clerk was very nice and personable. The room was basic. The television sucked but this was a good hotel to just crash out and sleep.

I liked the hotel. There were small difficulties locating the hotel on the gps, since it was pointing to the wrong direction. Other than that everything was fine.

Good hotel for the price... Clean room.. Nice staff... Tv didn't come in clear and the place needs updating.. Improvements mean higher rates... I'll take a clean old room for the price. Very clean.

I was impressed with the Days Inn Sonora. It is a Motel with outside entrances. The room was comfortable, clean and QUIET. There was no noise from the highway or other rooms to be heard. Breakfast was included and was a good hot meal. I would stay here again. Excellent value.

The hotel is adjacent to a small airfield which made me cringe, but it is apparently low volume, so we were not disturbed by any air traffic. It was also very convienent to I-10, gas stations, and quick food stops. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and a great value.

We killed about 5 flies the day we checked in. The next day there were no flies. Wifi connection never worked. The restroom is too small. I guess you get what you pay for. Free breakfast at the steakhouse is acceptable; the restaurant is like a little museum of Sonora. Overall stay was acceptable.

If you are a weary traveler and you have no other affordable or available options this hotel is better than sleeping in the car. The hotel is fairly run down and maintanence is not very well kept up. This is one of the best hotels that we have stayed at in a long time. The staff was excellent and the room was very cozy. The breakfest was the best we have had in a long time.. Will stay here everytime we come to Texas :)

We are not high maintenance when it comes to hotels. As long as the bed sheets aren't stained and the rate is reasonable we are happy. This was just what we expected for what we paid. The only drawback was that there was a leak in the shower above our room and they did not tell us. My husband purchased a very nice backpack and set it on the floor before […] we went to sleep. When we woke up the backpack was saturated from the wet carpet. We didn't ask to reimbursed by the hotel, but when we told them what happened they didn't offer to compensate us, either. The pool was closed for repair, although there were no signs of repair being done and no physical signs at the pool saying it was closed. We had to ask at the front desk. The best part of our stay was the restaurant next door. Amazing salads, excellent sweet tea, and a great breakfast in the morning (free for hotel guests). This property is an older hotel, that has seen better days. The room was clean and tidy, but the a/c was off upon arrival. Since the room and outside was rather hot, it took about 4 hours for the a/c to cool the room down to a comfortable temperature. The shower curtain in our room had a b.o. smell to it. My wife refused to take a shower. One of the ice machines was in disrepair but the other one was fine. Other than these 2 negatives the hotel was fine. It seems this hotel attracts contract workers as there were several rooms booked by various types of workers-not that this is a bad thing. Overall our experience was positive. The rates are affordable and the little restaurant had good food and friendly staff members.

this was a clean and comfy days inn. I was shocked that it didn't smell of smoke and that the bed was really comfortable. The restaurant next door was less than great for their breakfast choices and service. Don't expect much from the oatmeal, it's instant. gross.

Great restaurant next to hotel and free breakfast voucher were most outstanding features. Room was OK but bed to soft on one side. My recent visit to the Devil's River Inn will hopefully be my last. Their rooms show the age of the motel and are looking a bit worn. Although the food at the Sutton County Steakhouse (which is conveniently located next to the motel) is good, the alcoholic beverages are outrageously priced. This was an overnight stay on our way to Big Bend area. The hotel was OK. We got there on Sunday late afternoon. The restaurant next door was closed. The breakfast at the restaurant is nice but the portion is small.

The place needs repairs, there IS a steakhouse connected to this hotel, the location is great and the food was typical southern cooking. The hotel bed we slept ON the covers NOT under. I don't think I'll be going back to this hotel, but to the caves FOR SURE!

Hotel is your average motel in a small town right off the interstate. Staff is nice, parking lot is huge if you have a boat, horse trailer, moving trailer or RV. Breakfast was a great value, compared to the average continental breakfast you usually get at the other moderate priced motels. If you have time to tour the Sonora Caves, VERY WORTH YOUR WHILE!!! You will almost have a personal tour of the cave, and it is one of the most beautiful caves we have ever seen and we have been to many. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great. Definitely would recommend this motel.

Clean room,grounds were well kept. Quiet and right off the highway. I would stau there again.

Nice breakfast at restaurant next door. Very small town. Not much of anywhere else to eat..or stay. Room was clean. Bathroon door had hole punched in. Draperies poorly hung, made the room look bad.

The front desk folks were welcoming and the pool was clear and clean. It was close to I-10 but still far enough away that you couldn't hear any traffic. The only thing that we didn't care for was that the pillows were hard as rocks.

This may not be the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed in but for the money it was a very clean and comfortable room.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It may not by the Ritz but if you are looking a for a nice room at a great price you found it.

Located right off I-10. Nice place to make an overnight stop on the road. Room was reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. There is a good steak house right next to the motel. Food was good ( supper and breakfast ). Friendly service at the motel and restaurant.

Hotel abgewohnt, aber halbwegs sauber. Das "kostenlose" Frühstück wird in einem Steakhouse auf dem Hotelgelände serviert. Auf meinen Wunsch, statt Kaffee schwarzen Tee zu erhalten, wurden uns 2 Teebeutel und heisses Wasser serviert. Dafür mussten wir 4 Dollar + Tax extra bezahlen. Eine Frechheit!
