If there are kids screaming through the hallways, playing tag on the elevators, and running wild for hours on end the front desk will not fix the problem. There was numerous complaints about this and until parents of their own will rounded up their children problem was not fixed. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, IT WAS A LOT CLEANER THAN SOME MOTELS I'VE STAYED AT. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. I'D RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS, FOR SURE!

We stayed just over night in this hotel. The service was great tho. Always a smile and made sure everything was to our standerds. The room was clean and large. The bed was comfy. The pool was nice and was great for the kids. We will be staying here again!

The beds were very comfortable but the pillows needed thrown out and ones with more support brought in! The shower head had no water pressure but it did have hot water. The parking around the hotel is very difficult as it is very small spaces so one has to be careful while driving around it! Breakfast was hot and good! Hotel was ok. Our biggest complaint would be that it was 108 degrees when we arrived and we had NO air conditioning all night. Hard to sleep when you are hot. We told the front desk about the discomfort and the only response we got was "Sorry about that".

The staff was very friendly greeted u with a smile everytime not real bad on price either over all I really enjoyed my stay there

We have stayed a couple of times at the Sleep Inn and would definitely stay again. Our daughter goes to school at FHSU and this is the best hotel I've found for the price. There are cheaper hotels in the area, but this one has a pool, hot tub, and complimentary breakfast. Nice, clean, quiet hotel. Front desk staff helpful. Convenient location with an Applebee's across street. Breakfast was very good - glad they had some protein (yogurt and boiled eggs). "Fitness Center" only had cardio - no weight machines. Hi-speed wi-fi was good. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay Sleep Inn Hays Kansas very much. Our rooms were very clean and nice. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It is a very well maintained motel and the staff was super. We will stay here again.

Awakened at 2:00 Am by a spider in my bed, killed it and promptly removed bedding and made sure no more spiders, underside of mattress wasn't the cleanest. Took dead spider to office staff. They never asked if it bit me or was it a brown recluse or if i went to theemergency room at 2:00 AM in the morning.Hotel apologized but the best they could do was […] offer a $20.00 discount. Picked this hotel from Hotels.com, and was very happy with the choice. Only problem was it was a bad morning for the breakfast buffet employee as they were behind on re-stocking the items, but I think this was caused by the Choice hotel inspector was there and disrupting the flow of work.

nice place to sleep, rude staff, didn't change the old looking lemon water n lobby whole time we were there, pool nice, other then that it was ok

We've stayed at a couple of hotels in Hays and this one was as expected- convenient to I-70 and not too many frills. The night we stayed the hotel was sold out so the pool and breakfast in the morning was crowded but otherwise everything was okay.

Our family stayed here on the way to Colorado and because we liked it so much we stayed here on the way back. Located just off I-70, the hotel is right across the street from Applebee's, Golden Corral and a Wal-Mart Super Center. An IHOP is in walking distance to the side of the hotel. Very easy access off the HWY. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Beds were okay in comfort. We seem to be comparing any hotel in this price range to a Holiday Inn Express and others never seem to live up to those. Though we would recommend staying at this hotel because it was new and clean in a good location, we thought the beds were not quite as comfortable as a Holiday Inn Express.
