Named after the wind-god Aeolus, the seven volcanic islets off Sicily’s northern shores are buffeted by stormy but crystal-clear seas. Aeolian landscapes feature startling rock formations and vivid contrasts – black lava, white pumice and lush green hills. Stromboli’s volcano is still active, its fiery outpourings best seen by boat after dusk. Fashionable Lipari is the main resort, but some prefer Vulcano’s hot springs and sulphur mudbaths.

"A really magical place"

This is a really beautiful villa. The setting and view are stunning and the garden magical. The rooms are large, as are the bathrooms, and impeccably clean. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to be off the main drag in a peaceful setting and as it is above the town it also escapes the intense heat that can build up in the town. Villa Diana hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt spontan verlängert haben. Super Frühstück mit perfektem Ausblick auf Marina Corta; das "Centrum" ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar - für uns hat alles gepasst.
