Nice view and comfortable placed in town

Best described as quirky or even a bit weird, couple of nights no restaurant, or bar service. To get hot water in the shower, took forever (what a waste) Staff friendly, although very limited English.

A fantastic place to spend a night prior to boarding a cruise ship in the nearby port (5 min by taxi). The hotel was built in about 1870 and has been restored to its appearance at about that time with some love and care. Details include the lovely woodwork and matched stain glass in the transoms. It shows what many other buildings in Valparaiso might […] look like if there owners spent the time and money trying to restore them to their original lustre. Multi-levels and no elevators, but the staff gladly had your luggage transported around the facility. The restaurant was disappointing. But other than that staying their really enhanced our experience of what the city must have been like in its heyday with its beautiful view overlooking the harbor from high up in the hills. 阅读更多信息

The best part of the stay was the helpful and efficient staff. The location was excellent, right next to the ascensior from the main drag. The view from the room was spectacular. The restaurant was first-rate, and the overall ambiance was welcoming. The only negatives were waiting for hot water, and a steep staircase.

This old-style Victorian mansion hotel in Cerro Conception neighbhoorhood was very nice, we were actually the only people staying there our first night so had a run of the entire hotel (and got to check out many of the empty rooms to see them - Room 10 is a fun suite; I would recommend requesting one fo the King Bed rooms for more comfort); the restaurant […] is very good but little overpriced - highly recommend Cafe Turri just over on the next block - amazing staff and some of the best food we had in Chile. We stayed in Room 12 on the bottom level of the hotel (no elevator available so had to lugg out heavy bags down 5 flights of steps) - it was a 2 twin bed room, pretty small room with really tiny bathrooms. Had a partial view of the ocean bay (big office bldg in front blocked 1/2 view), though the hotel is more near the port area than just the beach/ocean side of town. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful; service was very nice as well - everyone was kind to us (and spoke English pretty good as well). Only about 5 minute walk down to the main street or you can take the Ascensor elevator down for $300 pesos. There is a wine bar across the street too - good wine selections. Great location. Very good restaurant and very clean room. Helpful staff. Safe neighborhood, good to walk around even at night.

L'hotel a beaucoup de charme, est situé au centre historique, magnifique vue depuis la terrasse, l'acceuil chaleureux , mais l'accès est très difficile, beaucoup d'escaliers, chambre et salle de bains sur 2 niveaux

PESIMO SERVICIO Y ORIENTACION AL CLIENTE DEL PERSONAL, NO VOLVERIA A IR A ESTE HOTEL Y MENOS LO RECOMENDARIA A OTRAS PERSONAS. LAMENTABLEMENTE UNA MALA EXPERIENCIA.

exelente disposicion del personal, ubicacion privilegiada del hotel en la zona declarada patrimonio de la humanidad .La vista hacia el mar desde la habitacion era una postal. Recomiendo este hotel.

Le grand hotel Gervasoni est situé magnifiquement à l'arrivée de l'ascensor Conception. Il s’agit d'une magnifique demeure avec des parquets anciens et des boiseries. La réception est située dans le hall mais empêche l'entrée facile des personnes avec les bagages !! Le réceptionniste est seul a tout faire et est débordé. La chambre qui nous a été proposée […] sans pouvoir changer ne disposait pas de la vue sur le port, contrairement à ce que nus attendions, mais un petit balcon donnant sur une rue calme(ou malheureusement il y avait des amas d'ordures). En dehors du lit king size de bonne qualité, le reste était à l'avenant : télévision très ancienne sans chaine internationale ou française, salle de bains avec robinetterie vétuste, baignoire à jets ne fonctionnant pas, pas de kleenex,.. La chambre donnait sur le pasage pour le restaurant et donc était assez bruyante à partir de 7h du matin. La vue (du restaurant était assez amputée par un immeuble assez haut et délabré, le sol de la terrasse pas très entretenu, le service inefficace et pas souriant (la patronne avit l'air de terroriser le personnel qui ne savait que faire et était planté là sans débarrasser les tables...). El hotel es bonito y conserva la elegancia de la casonas de los cerros de Valparaiso. Sin embargo se hecha de menos equipamiento básico: frigobar y calefacción con termostato. Nota final : 3

La atención en el desayuno no fué buena, había mesas desocupadas pero sin limpiar y aun cuando llevaron mas fruta fué un poco lento.

Les + : Belle demeure, avec beaucoup de charme. Bonne situation. Les - : Petit dejeuner moyen. confort salle de bain.

Très belle situation, en bord d'une des plus belles collines de Valparaiso et au coeur d'un quartier très animé et très authentique. Terrasse magnifique avec vue sur tout le port. L'établissement a un incontestable cachet et des restes agréables d'une splendeur passée. Mais il ignore un peu trop le 21è siècle, tant au niveau du confort que de l'absence […] de salle internet. Il est par ailleurs très cher par rapport à la réalité des prix pratiqués par les hôtels chiliens de même gamme. Le restaurant, bon par ailleurs, est dans le même cas. 阅读更多信息

Un hôtel d'excellente tenue qui se trouve dans le centre historique de Valparaiso, au cachet suranné. Proche de l'ascenseur Conception, on est très vite au centre et surtout à proximité des meilleurs restaurants de la ville. La vue est superbe côté port et surtout calme. Bref, un hôtel qui donne une entière satisfaction.
