The Holiday Inn Potts Point was a pretty typical Holiday Inn. Only complaints were that the check in girl was not very helpful and the bed was not soft. However, I should mention that the girl checking out was very nice. Overall it is a very decent hotel in the heart of Sydney. Did I say "heart" of Sydney? I meant "bowels". Just outside of the hotel […] around the corner is the "party" area. Bars, strip clubs, hookers, vagrants, and street musicians. As crazy as it was, I must say in all fairness to the people of that area, that we never felt threatened or that it was dangerous. It's just the "party" area with all that goes with that. The zany area is only about four city blocks long, but at the end of that there is a rather nice open square with sidewalk cafe's and a super good bakery and a very good pizza joint. The bakery had fantastic Italian cookies. I know Italian cookies as I'm from the NY/NJ area of America. I couldn't believe how good their cookies were. In Sydney! Anyway, walking through the zany area we did see some weird stuff. My family and I were serenaded by a drunk who belted out "Bad Boys Bad Boys" the theme from the tv show Cops. We were invited into many strip clubs, and happened by as the strippers were out on the sidewalk for a cigarette break. That was "Cops and Robbers" night so the strippers were in costumes. A street musician played polka music on a squeeze box while two toothless drunk women danced and twirled all around the sidewalk. A very drunk woman stumbled out of a cheap hotel and, upset with the management, shouted obscenities back at them. The proverbial sailor would have been proud! People stoned on heavy narcotics supported each other down the street. If you're into this type of thing than this area may be just what you are looking for and the Potts Point Holiday Inn would be perfect for you. If you're into more family friendly activities than you may want to consider the Park Royal Hotel as for the same price it was excellent and in 阅读更多信息

Friendly staff. Helpful and expedient service. Clean and comfortable room. Everything ran smoothly.

Good hotel, clean towels and room cleaned daily. Food good, although dinner menu not a great deal of choice. Very noisy on a Friday and Saturday night if you are at the front of the hotel as its right on the edge of Kings Cross where there are lots of bars and night clubs, but during the week ok. 15 minutes walk from the CBD but the Underground is immediately […] next to the hotel. I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel . The location was very convenient - next to underground and city buses, and shops ( restaurants, convenienc shops, news agents). The hotel was modern and rooms were comfortable . Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Pænt og rent hotel. God beliggenhed. Undergrundsbanen 30 meter fra hotellet. Buslinier også tæt på. Lidt dyrt hotel, men vil anbefale det alligevel.Vi havde udsigt over Harbour Bridge og operahuset.

Hotellet levede op til vores forventninger. Hotellet ligger i rigtig godt kvarter med mange gode spise muligheder. Hotellet har vaskeri hvilket kan være meget anvendeligt når man er langt væk hjemmefra.
