This hotel was clean and in a good position and was an OK 4* hotel certainly not exeptional. The overall manner of the staff was dissapointing whilst the reception staff did try to be pleasant the staff at breakfast gave the impression it was an effort to serve you with mininal conversation and smiling and friendliness minimal.

We have stayed here before in past years. The ambience remains good with the terrace overlooking the promenade still delightful. However, the hotel no longer offers a set menu for dinner which makes a three course meal far too expensive -after all it is not a gourmet restaurant. some areas also need refurbishment. This hotel was a really good place to stay. There is a good size swimming pool and a very nice Whirlpool, nice and hot. We had a room on the 5th floor with a view of the back with a little balcony for them hot and sunny days. You had to pay 4 star prices at the bar but every one was so friendly and so helpful. A must place to stay.
