Mountain Star Lodge Hotel - 奥斯汀

Loved this motel in the past Thought it was a beautiful reflection of the hill country. Thought it was small and homey and it was very convenient for me, however, on this trip I thought it had become somewhat shabby. Things like the blinds in bedroom were broken at the bottom, drapes didn't shut all the way because they were broken, toilet roll dispenser […] broken, bathtub had a broken spot, seemed to need painting. The customer that I was visiting just about 5 minutes had asked me about recommending it when they have out-of-town customers, but this trip I told them not to send customers there. LOVELY VIEW, PERFECT LOCATION TO THE BACKYARD. =)

This hotel was clean and friendly. Great pool and nice surroundings. The address for the hotel did not get me anywhere close with my GPS or google maps, call ahead for directions. Overall I was very pleased with my stay!

Nice Hill Country setting, nice pool, Not five star but very comfortable, convenient. Very friendly staff

Lovely pool area - good value for the price

Room was simply furnished and equipped, but comfortable and good-sized with a large private balcony, shaded by a nice tree and overlooking the pool. Refrigerator in room;a microwave would be a nice addition. Close to shopping, restaurants, and Lake Travis. Friendly staff. No interior hallways or elevator, so be prepared to schlep luggage up exterior […] steps to second-floor rooms or to ask for assistance. Pool has nice shaded area with tables for socializing. If you're going to a concert or event at the Backyard in Austin this is the best place to stay. The grounds are very nice and the room was very clean. The balcony looking out onto the pool area was nice. The bed was not as comfortable as we might have wished for and the remote control for the TV didn't work. The towels are rough. Very clean, very good staff; nice uncrowded room; great location if you're going to be around Lake Travis/Bee Cave. Only question was the bed--it wasn't bad, slept just fine, but I have had other rooms there with even better, different beds--I'm just spoiled.

Hotel was clean. Check in was easy...staff was exceptionally helpful!
