Great staff, great food ,great location for some peace and quiet but also things to do if you want.Our second visit and would visit again.

Rooms large with large indoor bathroom, utility area, plus outside showers. Very clean. Pool fine. Beach not very pleasant for swimming - only saw one or two tourists swimming in four days. Pool fine. Alot of rubbish on the beach due to the proximity of creek nearby. About a 35 minutes walk to nearest little local town. No local tourist activities, […] except surfing, which is well served and not subject to harrassment by hawkers. Resort set in, alongside traditional village and plantations. Interesting and people very welcoming. Restaurant sells standard fare only and is very reasonably price. Good / excellent place to go if you have little children who are happy in the pool (has toddler pool - unfenced) and want to literally lie under a palm tree and do nothing but read a book and go for the occasional wander along the beach looking at crabs, spiders, lizards, snails etc. Food prices are inc of service and tax, whichi is very good (as this is 21% more at other resorts). You can eat and have a couple of beers for $20 USD per day easily per person. Great cultural evening at great place. The staff are wonderful. No TVs in rooms, but tv room with excellent range of videos , free wi-fi and internet access. They also have daily activities that they organise for you (trips to tourist attractions etc) which we didnt do, but are vrey good. spa good. Traffic is Bali is very bad, so getting small distances takes a long time (70 mins to go 45k) so leaving the resort can be long winded and may not thrill little kids. Overall, this resort is very, very good value for money, and its remoteness is as much a blessing or distraction. If you want bars and nightlife, restaurants then no, but if you want a quiet break, dont mind eating burgers and chips, fried rice and gado godo all week, then you will love it. L'hotel est magnifique, la situation près de l'océan superbe, mais il est tellement éloignée de la route, de transport, et surtout il n'y a rien aux alentours pour la plus petite course. Une fois ici, on ne peut plus bouger sans un chauffeur. C'est dommage, l'endroit est magique, mais vraiment trop éloigné ou du moins, non desservi.
