What a gem of a hotel - from the easy self check in on the 1st floor with helpful staff on hand if required to the funky wee room with the mood pad to play with, this was a great experience! A wee problem with the on demand movies was resolved easily while we were out for the afternoon. Having a rainforest shower while the mood lighting gently changed […] through the range was such a relaxing experience - the huge 6 ft by 6 ft bed was so comfy and the blackout blind ensured a good nights sleep. The mood pad was great fun to play with -working the lights, temperature, TV, blinds . As the rooms are quite small (reminded me of a good slightly bigger cruise liner cabin), the hotel has a living area on the 1st floor with different seating areas with TVs, books and internet access - all different in more ways than one, with funky unusual designs - take your camera. Also on this floor is the bar and the citizen canteen - you could pre book a self service breakfast for £6 or pay £9.95 if you decided just to pay in the morning - we didnt have breakfast so cant comment. We did, however, have a drink and this is my only negative comment - we only got 10p change from £10 for a pint of lager and a gin and tonic, a wee bit steep even for a hotel, we thought! This aside, we really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely go back (avoiding the bar). Would we recommend this? YES, YES, YES!! 阅读更多信息
